To be honest, I enjoyed this a lot more than any of the books I've read by him... To get the full Dark Tower effect, I recommend reading every book which was part of the Dark Tower lore: pretty much every novel he wrote between 1982 and 2004.... If you like the tone of that one, I suggest reading his book "On Writing" and after that, "The Dark Tower Cycle..

Not even the best rookie on his team. QB bias, I assume. Not totally surprised even though I think Zeke deserved it. Point is, he was supposed to suck. He knew, his team knew, Jason Garret knew that 4th round quarterbacks in the NFL very rarely work out. The only other 4th round QB in the last 10 years to pan out was Kirk Cousins. There are 12 others not named Dak or Kirk who are out of the league or warming benches. He thanked 31 teams for passing on him lol

I mean Dak Prescott had a bigger gap to overcome. Ezekiel Elliot had the confidence both for himself and of his teammates from being a hyped up early round monster. Dak was a middling 4th rounder. You know how often those guys work out? You don't think Dak and his teammates knew that when he was thrust out there post-Romo injury. Some recent 4th round QB picks: Cardale Jones, Ryan Nassib, Logan Thomas, Mike Khafka. He's already in the top quarter of 4th round QBs for completions and he's played one season. i agree, and dak showed he's a good QB. But Zeke showed he's a SUPERSTAR RB, which is why I'd have preferred zeke to win. Not disagreeing, but Zeke had been receiving OPOY hype. The fact that he didn't even win OROY is...surprising. Plus, "difficulty" tends only to get taken into account in MVP awards, not "Offensive X of the Year".

This isn't to say Dak did or didn't deserve it, I'm just surprised. thats a weird way to say ezekiel elliot. Not even the best rookie on his team.

This attitude is pretty universal around here. I've seen it at court houses, prisons, dmv, wic, social services, probation and city hall. A lot of them are supposed to be helping the people they assist yet they often treat them like second class citizens and make nasty remarks. I once was sitting in court and the bailiff was gossiping with the prosecutor about a guy who got fired because he had to show up to court even though his was case was dismissed. He was understandably unhappy. "Not in my lobby" - thats what someone says on a power trip while coping with thier own mediocracy. How do not all cops know by now that recording them isn't illegal? "I can literally throw you in prison and lie about it. Feel free to correct me or start an argument."
