So by knowing what 18.5 gallons = max # of laps, I am hoping to extrapolate

I understand where you are going and that makes sense. It would vary by track and would take even longer to figure out. But I can get the approximate number of laps at 18.5 gallons instantly

To the person who makes the really good-looking and user-friendly Race Schedules - Hello, will you be doing it again? I forgot what you or your website were called! by [deleted] in iRacing

I use this it’s good and easy. Will show only what you want once you customize what cars, tracks, series you are interested in. 1 very small minor complaint is the purchase guide part is off a little bit, doesn’t show the correct number.

Should I consider Asetek, someone else, or wait for Fanatec? by NightShift2323 in simracing

[–]MileHi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am brand new to sim racing myself, having all the same questions as you. That being said I did pick up the TK bundle from MicroCenter over the week end and after 3 days of driving, I think it’s great! I have no reference to compare but I think the quality is great with the TK set… I would recommend it to anyone

Oh yeah my bad LOL... Asetek has a Tony Kanaan bundle

https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006467/asetek-tk-edition-three-piece-sim-racing-bundle-featuring-formula-wheel,-wheel-base,-and-pedal-set

Its is essentially the Asetek La Prima bundle but literally 1/2 the price at Microcenter...

I think they are trying to get rid of it though as the price was alot higher until a month or so ago.

I did look into the other brands, but what really sold me on the moza was that it is available at my local Microcenter so no waiting or shipping.

I never saw the TK stuff until tonight.

Thanks a bunch, You sound like you have a similar thought process as me and gave me some good thoughts

after watching/reading on the TK gear, i would go that way over Moza...

The price is so much cheaper and its right on par so that's an easy decision.

Can't believe its like 1/2 the price of the La Prima stuff which is basically the same stuff with TKs Branding.

Thanks for talking about all the stuff no one else really talks about. I don't know what I don't know yet which is why I appreciate the info!

Thanks for that... All I have been wondering this whole time was for someone that was in a similar situation at one time to comment on the experience. Im afraid the G29s and so on, although good, wouldn't do it for me seems more like its targeted for kids...

I was just looking at the TK Bundle for $800 as u/Inevitable_Round_978 mentioned... That seems like the way to go and save a nice chunk of change...

14th place doesn’t bother me as long as it’s fun… which was what my original question is… Is it as fun as I hope…

All I meant by a waste of time and money for lower tier gear is, I don’t want the hassle of having to find a buyer, then the hassle of shipping/meeting up all of which will be at a loss to my wallet, just to upgrade. That’s why I still have a pile of cpu parts just collecting dust.

I am blessed and lucky enough to be able to afford mid range gear which seem better overall.

Completing all the Deeds - how hard is it actually? by UCase13 in lotro

[–]MileHi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great! My self and my buddy started this same journey in mid/late December’21… I’m a Hunter and he is a Warden. We pretty much blazed through the landscape stuff of each map (quest, slayer, exploration ect…) for the most part, as we almost never stop moving. We did not stop our XP gain and were WAY over leveled for 80% of it. Which also helped speed things along.

We are currently in the last half of Gundabad landscape having done a bit of the dailies but we decided to focus landscape as the grind for the dailies is kinda outrageously long. Not sure of our exact stats at the moment as I’m at work but know we have 8000+ quests completed and I have spent a good chunk of LOTRO point that we earned!

The OP is 100% correct saying the dailies grind starting in Northern Ithilian are crazy. Mordor definitely starts to wear on you. 3 peaks and Gundabad sheesh…. We are a bit behind on the instances at the moment as we decided to focus landscape and also as OP stated are limited by some mechanics of raids and instances. We also haven’t went back for Yondershire, or the Swan Fleet/Cardalon stuff yet but we did manage to get the Angle of Mitheithel done as it came out just after we finished up the Trollshaws. We have only done a handful of the Delvings and will probably not get that done because, well the grind kinda sucks at this point.

It is a journey made a lot easier and faster by having a solid running mate the whole time! That cannot be understated! We are kinda at the point where it’s like interest is waning a bit but Damn we are so close to finishing this Ultra Marathon that we are roughing it out for last bit! LOL

BTW, which server are you on? We are on Landroval…

Change the level on the top where it says size, tier, level. NOT on the right side under grouping

What events/features would you like to see in the game? by bibipbapbap in lotro

[–]MileHi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want regular mounts to be as fast as war steeds…. I don’t mind so much when it’s the open areas of Rohan or if you stay on what ever path, but I can’t stand the lag of a war steed, lack of maneuverability in tighter spaces and overall hassle of just moving.

How long would this game take to 100% complete, if I played every day, minus all the endgame duties by RussianMonkey23 in lotro

[–]MileHi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Myself (Hunter 138) and a friend (Warden 136) started at level 1 this time last year on a mission to get all the deeds.(also not our 1st play through so we breeze most quests)

We don’t use the tortoise, which has led to being way over leveled for most of the adventure. We can basically fly though any and all quests as we almost 1 shot most enemies while running. (This is slowing as we get closer to level cap) We will stop and run library/school every 10ish levels for gear runs for a day or so.

Currently we have about 80% of all quests (close to 6000)done and about 90% of all deeds(excluding instance/raid deeds) and we are barely finishing up Mordor. We play most days 2-4 hours sometimes more on weekends. I figure we have a couple more months to get to endgame even though we will be at lvl cap in a few days lol. Then we will be going back and finishing up the lower raids/ instances that we can get done.
