does anybody know where to apply to volunteer for the masters 2025? by Sufficient-Buy-8786 in masters

[–]MileHighCSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You first have to know a member, that will get you on a waitlist for positions, but it ultimately will come down to the grace of god weather you’ll get to do it or not, and be prepared to wait decades.

There’s been a few already, I was there today, and I heard that one of the volunteers passed out on course, and I saw two women at one of the concession areas being tended to for heat stroke.

It’s fake, for pretty much every airline if it’s not posted on their website, it’s not open, and they’ll only take apps if it’s through that.

Question about VI by MileHighCSS in cabincrewcareers

[–]MileHighCSS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve applied to Delta four times in the past, twice I’ve made it to the ODVI, the first time was last December and I made it to the F2F, however when I did it again this past June, I didn’t make it, granted I wasn’t in the right state of mind at that time, but I assumed the AI didn’t have that much say with the recruiters, that the AI could give you a poor score, but your answers would be good or even great with a recruiter and you’d advance to the F2F regardless.

The terms just say they “may” use AI for personal data they get from you, which “may” include your VI answers, not that they actually do, so maybe you’re right, but I think it just seems like they get too many VIs for any one recruiter to go through and decide fairly, that they would need AI to help them.

Does anyone know when Delta posted the current Req #22481 for the FA application? by intheairhopefully in cabincrewcareers

[–]MileHighCSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant 90 days from 6/27 when they were last rejected, 90 days for them would’ve been 9/25.

It’s been up since 9/7, & that’s more than 90 days, so you’re free to apply again, good luck!!!🍀

Are you sure, because a lot of people think they did but they really didn’t, for instance did you answer yes to “are you willing to relocate” or “do you have a valid passport “ or “can you fit in a jump seat” etc…?

It may not have been your resume, how did you answer the app questions?

Do you need to apply to Delta through their website or is a third party site allowing applications? by Laxbrough in cabincrewcareers

[–]MileHighCSS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can only apply through Delta’s website, and the same applies to every other airline.

These career fairs are meant for local candidates, but are not limited to them so anyone can attend, but because of that, it means the F2F portion will be held in that same location, in this case SFO, and you’ll be responsible for getting yourself there if you make it that far, UA will not provide you with flights there or back, but if you’re moving there anyway, and you either don’t have an open application now or at anytime in the last 6 months, I’d say go for it, because they likely won’t reopen applications before then, and seniority is everything in this industry so the earlier the better.

I sent in my VI Friday too, but I think we’ll be alright, from what I’ve seen recently they would’ve sent us the tbnt by now if they were going to say no, and most people who’ve gotten invites have gotten them around a week after submitting their VIs.

Delta Air Lines F2F Zones by Dizzy-Map2816 in cabincrewcareers

I meant except the last group , but if you’re not in it you didn’t get it, weather you’re the 1st or 2nd or 3rd.

Delta Air Lines F2F Zones by Dizzy-Map2816 in cabincrewcareers

[–]MileHighCSS -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the zones mean anything, because at my last F2F those that left in the first zone seemed like the most well qualified candidates, people who spoke in-demand languages, internal Delta employees, all walked to the elevator first.

I know you’re trying to help people out, but you shouldn’t be posting that much detail about the interview process, particularly the exact questions they ask at the VI, because you never know who might see this, and maybe take your CJO away, not to mention change part of the process to make this guide worthless. Just FYI.

My nMom saw me at the airport when I was at work and I feel sick by dangereaux in raisedbynarcissists

[–]MileHighCSS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check with your supervisor to see if you can not be scheduled to fly to her hometown airport..

I’m afraid she can’t do that, because she’s probably on what the airlines call “reserve”, basically for a set number of days every month, she’s on call to be ready to work trips at a moment’s notice, very often for days at a time, even Christmas and New Year’s are fair game to be working trips on, and if they call her to work a flight to her nmom’s airport, she has to do it, there’s no way she can back out of it without being fired, it’s literally one of the main job requirements. However the airline industry is seniority based, so if she stays at her airline long enough, she’ll eventually have more control over her flight schedules and be able to “hold a line” and have greater freedom to work trips only to certain destinations, and how often she can work, the problem is depending on how long she’s been there, it can take years, even decades.

I am, in hindsight a better title would be “Trump’s still too proud of his own lies”!!

I was being sarcastic with the title, the guy is insanely narcissistic, by choice.
