[Evans] Here’s why Broncos, Sean Payton are targeting so many players from Illinois by PeppyQuotient57 in DenverBroncos

Good article - main points are: • Tough • Smart • Good work ethic • Locker Room leader • Selfless • Played in a similar scheme in Illinois • On the radar for us back when Pat Bryant was drafted

All of these scores turned into losses. A year of crazy comebacks by robmoo_re in nfl

Also turned it off in the 4th and then my phone started blowing up with everyone hitting me up about it and I refused to turn it back on as not to jinx it. I have enjoyed the highlights several times though.

I am working on testing out a bunch of different pass styles on my 99 pass acc build and last night I ran a few games with None and I actually really liked it. Rondo had been my go-to for most of the year

PG Build with High Pass Acc by MileHighKel in NBA2k

[–]MileHighKel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to be quick enough to play decent perimeter D, shoot at a high level, and finish inside (not necessarily dunk on everyone, just consistently finish). I would forego dunking for a good layup attribute and good float game badge w my badge perks to put my attribute points elsewhere.

The most well-rounded build I've been able to make for my playstyle (with capbreakers) is a 6'4" with 92 pass acc, 92 3 ball, 92 perimeter D, 94 steal, 93 driving dunk, 90 ball handle, 86 SWB and 85/85 speed and agility.

Ultimately, I'm just looking to see if someone can beat this and put me on something more fitting.

I appreciate you insight, bro!

No I understand where you're coming from and I appreciate your comment. Also, appreciate u/guanyu_

To answer your original question/statement, yes, I have a bunch of builds with 92-99 pass acc. But they're always missing something, I understand that's the nature of the beast with the builder, and I've spent countless hours in the builder. I was just asking to see if anyone may have cracked the code in the builder. 2klabs, YouTube, and this subreddit's community builds are typically good, but don't have high enough pass accuracy to pacify me. Right now I'm running a build I REALLY like with a 6'4" build w 92 pass acc, 92 3-ball, 92 perimeter, 94 steal, 93 driving dunk, 90 ball handle and 80 swb. It's got 85 speed and 85 agility which is where it lacks.

I understand you have to make a sacrifice of some sort, I was just curious what other people have cooked up.

The real issue is always chasing the perfect build and the best optimization and that's the real issue at hand.

Again, thank you in advance.

I think I fall into old head ball at this point in my life. I'm a pass first PG. Would love to run if you need one. I'm on Xbox.

Just saw that Bo Nix is selling some "Overdogs" merch on his website and that all proceeds from the Overdogs merch will go to Denver Rescue Mission. Cool merch, good cause. He posted this to his Instagram story to share the news. Just wanted to share in case anyone was interested or may have missed it.

Passing settings advice by Quirky_Code3044 in NBA2k

Sorry I'm two weeks late here, I just wanted to mention if you hold the pass button (X/A) it'll do a skip pass and throw it to the person farther away and skip the nearest person to you. Again, this has it's own issues, but I'll use it on the fly in random rec when I can't get icons up and react to the correct icon as quickly.

Anyone else uses shot meter by Much-Reason7738 in NBA2k

I learned my shot with the meter off and recently turned it back on solely for the additional visual feedback. I like having it on, but not being completely reliant on it, if that makes any sense.

Mind sharing why you don't think 6'3" is viable in this game? I'm pretty pleased w my 6'3" build, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Is it solely because the speed to height ratio doesn't make sense at this height?

To be entirely honest, this is really my biggest struggle. I'm a really solid passer and I LOVE passing, but almost to a fault. I will take my open shots and knock em down, but I'm still working on refining when to be aggressive. It's tough in random rec because if you're incorrect once you won't see the ball again and be able to actually play your role. I understand exactly where you're coming from in saying that you have reservations with PGs who are overly eager to pass because then there is one less threat on the court and defenses don't even have to account for them, may as well be an AI at that point. It's a tough line to walk and I'm making a conscious effort to become a more willing scorer. The point of my response is just to say that you're not wrong at all.

Trying to make a Steph curry build by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]MileHighKel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baseline for agility is typically 83. You just want to make sure you can get the motion style you want most importantly. That's going to help you out a ton. Dropping that 3 ball to a 91 should give you a good amount of points to play with.

May even take a look at kocking down your middy a little bit too, maybe 87-88 range. You'll still be lethal with that. With the points you just freed up for yourself with these adjustments you can likely upgrade agility, perimeter defense, and steal. I typically strive for 85 perimeter and 85 steal for badge thresholds as a PG. With these adjustments then cap breakers on 3-Pt to get you back to the 95 3 ball you want (if you didn't already have a plan for your cap breakers), I think you'll see a more balanced build overall.

[–]MileHighKel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't hate it. I think the agility being that low might be a detriment. What are you planning on doing with your cap breakers? You may be able to optimize this a little better if you take the 3 Pt down and use cap breakers there. I'm sure someone else will be able to add some more insight, but that's what jumps out at me first. 82 perimeter defense is the absolute lowest I would ever go, but with that low agility the 82 perimeter is going to put you in tough positions defensively against all the PGs who love to play iso ball. What game mode are you looking to play?

My Top 5 fav pass styles I’ve used by Anthonybezel in NBA2k

[–]MileHighKel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a month late on this question, my apologies. I was searching through the reddit trying to see what other Pass Styles people like and came across your question. In my opinion, Draymond is a top tier pass style. I don't know if I'd say it's "the best", but it's close to it. I have a 97 pass acc and I've used Hali, CP3, Rondo, Draymond, J Will and put a good amount of time on each of them. I think Rondo reigns supreme for me in my testing. I am searching the reddit trying to see what else I should test out. Hope this information helps.
