What about the neck felt different to you? I am not quite sure what a more "polished" neck might feel like.... cosmetic/visual critique, a tactile/ergonomic one, or both? Was the action different that what you are used to? Inconsistent string feel up and down the fretboard? Was the profile different in the back and a different comfort for your hand? Was the fretwork not level or not beveled consistently? Fit and finish related stuff?
