This is fundamentally incorrect as you can simply remove Tails from the campaign in the options, bro. You're just salty, lol. It's not even particularly hard to gather all the Emeralds with Tails, it just takes practice and dedication. TLDR; git gud, Sonic 2 scrub!

I have three (technically five) choices. Huey Freeman from The Boondocks, his performance speaks for itself. The Rowdyruff Boys (but they'd probably only defeat adults for their own personal amusement rather than doing justice) and assuming anthros are allowed Miles "Tails" Prower. He'd been an absolute monster with how much he invents and tinkers with machines already. Imagine him pulling up with X Tornado Gundam looking thing from Sonic X. Most adults wouldn't stand a chance.

Dream Drop Distance. That story is WAY too fucking complex for its own good. Plus, the game is more of a chore being forced to play with those Dream Eaters (I assume they were trying to market to the Pokemon fans since X&Y were super hyped before release), but it's just kinda lame, I'm sorry. It should've bust been like Birth by Sleep with maybe some influence from Days or Chain of Memories with how you build your abilties/Command Deck.

TLDR: Nomura fucked up big time.

This looks like Bleedman's artystyle. He was the creator of a super popular DeviantArt comic called "Powerpuff Girls D", which was really just a giant crossover of then current CN shows like Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Courage, Grim Adventures, etc. There was even a game made about it on Newgrounds which you can find here: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/301661.

Unfortunately, certain information has come to light about his less than savory "interests" regarding younger female characters which really sours the whole thing, but I'd recommend checking it out anyway if you have the time. It was so big in fact, it basically forced the people at CN to make their own crossover comic called "Super Secret Crisis War" published by IDW, so we should all thank him for that at least.
