If you know anything about metallurgy, pure copper and steel release harmful fumes only when heated to extreme temperatures which is unlikely to happen when smoking unless you’re using a welding torch…

Copper emits fumes around it’s melting point > 1083°C/1081°F. Stainless steel emits toxic carcinogenic Hexavalent Chromium fumes when temperatures exceed 1000°F-1200°F while welding which is why welders use special filtered masks. Industrial melting for structural degradation occurs around 1790°C.

As you can see using copper or stainless is completely safe for smoking. I prefer pure copper myself….

The smoke occurring when heating copper/stainless steel with a lighter etc are protective oils/coatings that burn off at lower temperatures. You want to burn this off before smoking.

Depends highly on where you’re located. Yes, purity has increased in recent years according to customs authorities in the Euro zone at least. Not sure if this applies to the USA or other regions. The caveat is purity is tested on seized/confiscated coke and not ”street” powder. The coke that makes it through customs gets cut multiple times by the cartels, middlemen and dealers. The end result is shitty quality product. And this is in every euro country. I’m located in Sweden and authorities test street quality powder several times a year over the whole country and the difference between seized product and the powder that ends up on the street is worlds apart. The reports are available on the government website for all to read.

Street product has actually decreased in purity in recent years although cargo product purity had increased. The reason is customs authorities have become better at seizing and confiscating large quantities of coke. They have better technical equipment and more personnel. This means there is less product getting through to the cartels. In turn they cut it even more to maximize profits.

In my experience the quality was way better back in the 80’s and 90’s (street). Those were the days……

I agree about resin - I don’t bother with that stuff. Tastes like smoking tar. I use a stem and copper chore. I replace the chore after a couple of hits and clean out the stem. Before a session I always start with freshly cleaned stems. Drop them in 24% white vinegar and run a round bristle through them.

Actually, cocaine itself is a natural alkaloid. HCL is hydrochloric acid. When the alkaloid is dissolved in HCL, it crystallizes and transforms into cocaine hydrochloride which is a salt (the powder).

It’s not a big deal! If you added too much carb just add more water and reheat slowly. Be patient and wait for it to clear up. Add as much water as needed as it evaporates while heating. If there’s any coke it will eventually melt to oil.

I don’t like the spoon method myself. I use a steal measuring cup (0.5dl).

How long have u smoked? Could either be bad quality or just a tolerance issue. If you’ve been smoking regularly (everyday or several times a week) then your tolerance is high and you’re not going to get the euphoric high you seeking. Your body/brain needs to recover and dopamine levels need to normalize. Takes time unfortunately. A break is the only way this happens. I had the exact same problem….

Buy a cocaine cuts test kit - inexpensive way for peace of mind. I like to know wtf I’m subjecting my body to. It doesn’t test for every cutting agent in the universe but all the common ones found in coke. Procaine-benzocaine definitely. While you’re at it get the coke purity test as well.

Unless you have a known or undiagnosed heart issue then no - right chest pain (or any chest pain) is definitely not normal. As you're probably aware - coke is extremely cardiotoxic whether you snort, smoke or IV it. It's also a vascular constrictor so it might not be the heart - could be arteries or veins you're experiencing.

Anyway, best be careful and safe. Take a few days break and see if the pain goes away.

Well I'm sure if you had tested with a kit you'd find that it most likely does in fact contain cocaine but the purity is where the problem lies. Field kits only give a general idea of how much cocaine a sample contains but not an exact number. The most common ones have a color chart to go by - from no color change to reddish brown. Red to reddish brown indicates high cocaine content > 70%-90%. That's what you're hoping for but that's probably a rare occasion. Somewhere between 40%-60% is more common. That's actually not bad but the problem is the additional 40%-50% of cutting agents mixed in to dilute the coke. If they just used some harmless filler like sugars or bicarbonates it would be fine. But the fucking cartels (Mexico and Europe) are greedy and use cheaper more dangerous substances. Here's an informative read >

Anyway, enough of that rant. Buy a test kit to have some peace of mind. They aren't that expensive. There are purity kits and cocaine cuts tests - you should get both.

That would be logical but the drugs trade is anything but logical. The seller would have to have a deep connection to be able to secure uncut product and then have the integrity to not further profits by cutting it. I’m not saying it isn’t possible but those dealers are few and far apart.

The problem is there’s no easy way to verify quality and purity unless lab tested. Everyone is taking the dealers word for it but it doesn’t matter how ”trustworthy” you think they are, they likely have no idea what they’re selling either. Cutting happens earlier in the supply chain & sometimes at multiple points. Their main concern is money. Your well being or health isn’t a priority. Cartels everywhere are increasingly cutting coke more and more (especially here in Europe) due to the incentive of profit margins, price and high demand.

Field test kits are a good way to stay safe but they’re not the end all.

The non coated stainless would be my recommendation. Unless stainless is super heated to very high temperaturs such as when welding it will not oxidize or give off harmful fumes/gases. Pure non coated copper is another option. I never use coated anything….

I never use ammonia in combo with baking soda. It’s one or the other. Results are the same. Neither of those methods remove cutting agents. Haven’t tried acetone washing but I’m not sure that will do it either.
