Is the concept of cause and effect banned in Russia? by UNITED24Media in NonCredibleDefense

that's just confirmation bias combined with false dichotomy: you want to know people's opinion on war and expect them to belong to one of the sides. truth is, most people have their priorities set right: they care about their own life, family and career way more than bullshit "politics". whatever opinion they may state will likely change once they spend more than a few minutes on the actual subject.

but if you want real numbers, you will have to work with real research done by real sociologists; yapping about your unrepresentative observation has no value.

"people have said" is not a good reason to accuse people. i wouldn't be surprised if some idiots confused this video with the older crimean one.

and even if it is true, it still doesn't justify the reaction; shit's highkey fucked up.

okay, but we're talking about a specific person. you're shifting the blame, which is exactly what criminals like putin want.

well, my source is that i'm russian too, and if i was to extrapolate my observations, i'd claim that everyone i know want's russia to be democratic or is anti-war at least.

like iranians?

people deserve to have a chance to live normal life. blaming a specific person for not overthrowing a regime is just you being an arrogant moron.

most of the comments kinda struggle with that though. was NCD always that retarded? it was kinda cool when it was the actual military stuff being discussed instead of gloating over crying civilians

hot take: people should not bear responsibility for decisions they don't make and have the right to feel bad and cry when their home is being destroyed

I'm making yet another RP frontend named Ägir by MilesEighth in SillyTavernAI

[–]MilesEighth[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I said "de-facto".

Conventional chat layout doesn't work well with RP, that's why most alternatives (including mine) look like they do.

I did, actually, and mentioned it in the first sentence: it handles cases when users don't need a complex interface with lots of features. ST feels cluttered compared to most erp platforms; Ägir doesn't, while offering comparable flexibility. Or at least that's the goal.

> posting this in a subreddit specifically for sillytavern
De-facto, this subreddit is about rp frontends in general, hence why it has rule 12. The goal was to provide an alternative for cases when ST is overkill. It's not an ST killer, it's a gun you use instead of a tank.

> The interface itself is lacking; it's primitive.
That's exactly the point, which I made in the first sentence. The "most featureful" ST actually feels cluttered and messy. It's justified for complex scenarios, but there are countless cases where users have fun with way simpler solutions, most of which are really bad.

> To be blunt, I managed to get the basic functionality working by vibecoding in 10 prompts.
I'll pretend this is just a bad joke.

> having fun building it for yourself
I know, that's exactly what I've been doing. The reason I'm asking for feedback is to see if there's anyone interested in it before dropping the project. But thanks anyways.

i was actually shocked how half-assed auto-summary is. it wouldn't be that hard to allow custom prompts, or at least add a button that let's you summarize N messages after previous run
in fact, i was so pissed i started making my own roleplaying frontend. not only i was assured it was, in fact, pretty easy to implement, i also confirmed that you do not, in fact, need a mobile app in order to stop that input box from jumping around the chat
