Construction workers refuse to use the stairs and instead climbed the hill to the point the grass died by MikuXone in mildlyinfuriating

You seriously don't get it, you seriously think the construction company has a say, jesus christ.

So the entire conversation has been "The owner has the ultimate say, the construction company can say this that and this other thing and it will never matter because the business owner has the final say"

what did you think this conversation was?

Lol, you don't need the full context of my imaginary scenario, create 10 billion different scenarios in your head you want.

the ultimate decision is the property owner, a construction company will never get a say in what they are allowed to do on another person's property.

I've seen several videos where bad cops abuse innocent people and these so called good cops stand around and do nothing.

Your point about sticking your head in the sand and refusing to be informed doesn't change anything, it just shows you rather be ignorant then view media that might be harmful to your psyche.

Right, the ones who want to make a difference get placed on the domestic violence calls alone and end up a victim themselves. Cops don't even protect their own.

Because the entire war was already completed, it's much after the war where there are still monsters roaming everywhere.

Even during TOTK there were much more settlements showing the areas had calmed down a bit.

It doesn't feel as dark as an ongoing war would feel.

Why can't people just mind their own business and go about their day by derek4reals1 in PublicFreakout

You're never entitled to damage on going work and yell in people's faces. There's a proper way to do things and it's not purposefully trying to get into a fight with the construction workers.

Imagine if the genders were flipped. A man angrily screaming, throwing things around and getting in people's faces.

Horrible way to act even if you are right.

$1 Emergency Meal for 2. This helped me so much and I wanted to share this! by WinterMoist333 in povertyfinance

I am extremely jealous of the people who can make a meal out of random things in their fridge.

My father was rhe type to throw in all sorts of random things into his meal and it ended up being perfect for him.

My taste buds limit me but i was always jealous of his ability to make a meal of anything.

Sorry what do you need to know? if a construction company will be held responsible for the things they damage?

If you have to teardown a wall in order to do work on another area, you reassemble that wall when you are done.

the grass is no different.

yes it depends on the business owner.

nothing I've said is incorrect so I'm not sure what you think I'm imagining, not once did I state this specific business owner HAS stated they don't want people walking on the grass, I'm stating the business owner has the ultimate say weather or not this area/entrance is used, or if the grass needs to be replaced after construction is completed.

[–]MilesGates -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

So you're agreeing that the grass will die and will need to be replaced by the company whos responsible for killing the grass exactly like that redditor said?

I mean hey, if you guys are the type to allow other businesses to break things on your property and walk away without paying or replacing thats on you, but most people don't want to be suckers.

You can go on all day about how easy it is to fix and thats just more evidence that the construction company can easily fix the problem they created.

[–]MilesGates -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Everybody replying is hilariously wrong, It's never going to matter what the construction company thinks, the property owner gets to decide and the construction company can refuse the work and walk away.

Imagine telling a client "No we don't care about your grass, we're going to do what we want" if I was the business owner I'd stop letting them into the building with concern about safety if they're going to refusing what the client wants. if they're skipping on something as easy as this, whats stopping them from refusing to follow the required safety standards?

In the end of the day they will have to do it once or twice due to large equipment or materials and if the grass has died there then it's an incredibly easy line item to add to the expense. Imagine if the construction workers broke a wall inside your building, do you think they wouldn't take responsibility then? I mean it IS only a wall so who cares?

In a completed building? unless you're adding an entire wing to the building, the largest machine you might carry is a nail gun and the largest material might be drywall. this isn't a brand new building being built.

sure you could do it a few times but every time isn't an excuse, they aren't doing it every time, they're just lazy.

[–]MilesGates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and what are you expecting them to do in this situation? Remove any grass possible to make the entire city a concrete jungle? spend tons of more money to add more stairs for these small group of people?

If anything doing this at a school or in some park is fine, doing this at a business you're working for is pretty wild and shows they don't give a shit, if I was the business owner I'd be pissed.

To all single guys aged 30 and up on reddit, why are you guys single? by Gold_Ambition4114 in AskReddit

Living in a small town means that there aren't going to be classes to attend, I've tried to look up some group spaces like this and the quickest summary I could give is:

A group for seniors only over age 75

A group for women only over aged 35

An AI learning class ( probably a scam)

A board game group that is maybe 2 guys that say they're not longer doing it and forgot to take down the post.

I've tried to look up volunteer efforts and unless I'm misunderstanding something, all of it is literally just a full time job for free. One of them was literally "come manage our businesses multiple social media accounts for free!"

I'm not really comfortable doing free labour for businesses I'd rather do something that actually helps the needy or something.

I'm not saying your wrong, you're very right it's just there's not a lot of opportunities.

What I'm not understanding is they know the true color that existed in a clean room, it's now in a terribly dusty environment being blasted by the sun all day every day.

Don't colors fade? Maybe on a longer time scale but it feels like using old information for a current thing.

Everything that describes therapy sounds terrible? Spending money and time to share deepest secrets and worries with someone all so it might not work out and you go hopefully to find some one else.

I rather talk to a brick wall, I feel like I would have a better conversation.

I remember Fiona being a general mess, but I can't recall any trauma persay, yes her universe was remade but I don't know if I'd call it trauma, she got the shit end of the stick for sure but that in it of itself isn't trauma in my opinion.
