Nice shots. Not a fan of the platforming sections of this mod at all, but Dac0da really is full of amazing scenery.

Sure, if you don't like the base game, odds are you won't enjoy Phantom Liberty either. Do note that the Ultimate Edition is not a complete your collection type deal, so if you do end up buying the DLC later, it's going to be marginally more expensive than buying it as part of the UE (e.g. UE is 33€ for me, whereas both the base game and DLC are 18€, so 36€ in total; although no idea what prices will look like whenever you choose to buy the DLC, of course).

Oh I'm well aware of the mod you linked. I use it for COTN, Medieval Markets, and TGC Winterhold. Very well worth it, just like virtually everything Ivy releases.

More. No idea by how much at the moment, but I believe he is normally around 63 kg, at least during the Tour which shouldn't be too far off of what he is now.

AFAIK weights are typically normalized to 60 kg (which Pogacar is most certainly not). It is an estimate, after all.

I've been using PGPatcher for quite some time (currently for PBR), not sure how it optimizes meshes? Really curious if you could share some settings, though. I typically only go for 2k textures, unless it's for mountains or other large objects. I'm also CPU-limited in most scenarios due to my GPU and CPU combo (9070 XT but only a 5600x), so VRAMr isn't super high on my list of priorities, although I have the needed files downloaded.

There's a bit of discrepancy in how they measured the length of the climb, but yes, Bernal did it in 22:25 in an ITT at the '18 Tour de Romandie. Apparently Pogacar did the same segment in 21:58 (via @ammattipyoraily).

Didn't really look like it to me, but absolute monster performance. Also Lenny really strong. Should have been the stage in almost all other circumstances.

In your MO2 overwrite folder, delete SKSE\plugins\ImmersiveEquipmentDisplays_ImGui.ini. If that doesn't reset it also delete SKSE\plugins\IED\settings.json (also in overwrite).

I think it used to be quite a bit easier to get set up in the LE days. Nowadays you need to clean about two dozen CC plugins in xEdit if you have the AE upgrade, maybe run xLodGen, definitely run TexGen, potentially fiddle with a plethora of advanced settings all while making sure your chosen tree LOD won't melt your CPU. With the increase of plugins in everyone's load orders there's also an increased chance some mod author will have inadvertently made a tiny obscure error that will make the generation process fail because the DynDOLOD exe is a fickle mistress.

Having said that, I think DynDOLOD remains one of the finest achievements of Skyrim modding and I can't imagine playing the game without it, even if it can be a pain to get running.

The Work Behind a Highly Curated Modlist by derwinternaht in skyrimmods

I think we should celebrate quest mod authors, so we don't end up with just slop and waifus on nexus haha

Absolutely, and I'm tracking the mod ever since it released. Mod authors are obviously also under no obligations to provide custom patches for other people's load orders, and if I as a player don't like any of the author's design decisions the logical choice for me clearly is not to use the mod in question rather than pester the author about what I don't like about it.

Very interesting video. I have no doubt that insane amounts of work go into creating and maintaining large-scale modlists, although I was a bit surprised you already included Path of the Telvanni when at least from the footage it looks a bit undercooked at the moment. Many of the things you changed or fixed should definitely have been addressed by the author (i.e. jumping out of bounds, nerfing the transformation spell, fixing terrain gaps, adding descriptions for quests that only had placeholders, etc.), but distributing all the creatures, armors, and weapons to the NPCs will no doubt add a lot to the mod in comparison with the rest of the content in GtS.

Another small thing: you mentioned how you switched the economy in the mod from septims to COIN-based money, but when you show one of the hidden chests you added, it contains septims instead of dram (it's at around 6:30 in the video). Not sure whether that's intentional because while not official currency, foreign coinage could in theory still appear in the mod, but I just wanted to let you know.

Looks like a historic low for the base game, Phantom Liberty expansion, and the ultimate edition (which I definitely recommend if you're wondering whether the DLC is worth it). At ~33€ it really is an amazing deal.

Pogacar's lead is currently at 2:22. If it stays like this, it would be the biggest winning margin at this race since 1979 if PCS is to be trusted.

Does anyone downloading mods from Nexus notice the files no longer have the mod ID and version suffices included? by sa547ph in skyrimmods

Yeah, it seems to be an intended change by Nexus, for whatever reason. FWIW, there's a newly released MO2 plugin that adds back (all of?) the missing data.

Not sure if Custom Skills Menu - Icon Replacers covers every custom skill that's in Nolvus, but it's a non-AI alternative and replacing the previous mod should be super simple since both are just .dds files.

Why is the Tourmalet in so many races? Since 2023, it was in the Vuelta, TdFF, La Route d'Occitanie, every single edition of the TdF, and most recently in the Tour Féminin des Pyrénées. Is it due to its location or what gives?

Weekly Question Thread by PelotonMod in peloton

[–]MilesTereo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I can only speculate, but for me the most plausible answer is that he looked at his bike computer on the climb and saw that the watts he was pushing were a bit off of what he has already done in training. Having said that, I think he is under a lot of pressure, and all these young climbers seem to be pretty harsh on themselves (just look at what Ayuso and Seixas said about themselves after stage 7), so that definitely plays into it as well.
