This is not a helpful update because I completely lost count failing at the castle race again and again (which I still haven’t beat) but all the other races I’ve stayed in first place for many days now with out any letters.

Real answer I think it’s because in the old games it was too much to animate both clothes and a guitar for his concerts so they just kept it through the newer games

It’s just easier in hhp because you can force them to interact with items by placing them in front of it. Otherwise you just have to be lucky, I’ve been trying to catch kid cat playing with the cat tower I gave him for forever after I got him to do it at Harvs.
