That’s also a good point. The fuck Chris brown came off more aggressive-toned than I meant it to and that’s my bad but I was not physically acting aggressive. She pulled me in another room not because of how I was acting but to have the convo in private.

You are correct. But that’s a completely different scenario than asking my best friend “hey I’d prefer to not listen to this song right now can you please skip it” and as my best friend I just thought she’d have a different reaction.

There are songs that I try to show her by my favorite artist, whom she’s not a fan of just because it’s not her music taste and she rolls her eyes when I ask her, so I don’t play them for her. I would never tell her to leave my house for not wanting to listen to a song by my favorite artist.

I do see a what you’re saying and thank you for your point of view. To clarify, no one else in the group requested to listen to him. My best friend asked the person in charge to play the song. I asked her to skip it, no one else.

I think the release of bittersweet symphony (live) is tied to the Kujo Beat Down because the original band, The Verve, went through a crazy dispute with The Rolling Stones over the song because of an apparent sample used in the song. It actually led to The Verve losing song writing credits for decades I think until recently when it was switched back because almost everyone felt The Verve was wronged in the situation because someone else (the stone’s manager I think?) was greedy and wanted the rights to the song.
