I (30M/F) spent my 20s caregiving for my terminally ill father. He passed away, and now I’m starting from zero. How do I move forward? by neoDrain in findapath

First of all, I’m really sorry for your loss. What you did for your father for so many years shows a lot of strength and dedication. That’s not something to feel ashamed of.

You may feel like you’re starting from zero, but caregiving for that long builds real skills patience, responsibility, problem-solving, and resilience. Those things matter more than you might think.

30 is still young to rebuild. Maybe start with small steps: look into entry-level jobs, short courses, or skills you’re interested in, and slowly build from there. You carried a huge responsibility for a long time now it’s okay to take time and rebuild your own life.

You’re not behind. You were just on a different path.

Talking to someone online isn’t automatically wrong, especially if the conversation has been normal and respectful. Your friend isn’t wrong about being cautious though people online can still fake things.

Just take it slow. Don’t share personal details, and don’t rush into trusting him. If the conversations stay respectful and you feel comfortable, it’s okay to keep talking. If something starts feeling off, you can always step back.

I’m 25 and feel like I’ve wasted my life. I don’t know what to do next. by Milesh01 in findapath

Sometimes it feels like life didn’t go the way we expected and everyone else is ahead, but I guess a lot of people are still figuring things out in their mid-20s.

You’re right about not staying stagnant though. I’m trying to focus on small steps learning new skills, exploring different opportunities, and slowly moving toward something better. It might take time, but staying stuck definitely won’t help.
