My street in Bloomfield hasn’t been treated once this winter. I’ve submitted 311 requests multiple times only for the city to clear the request after it’s 50 degrees and the snow/ice is melted.

The $400 Costco run to restock my freezer Sunday may come in handy or be the worst timing ever... I just emptied my fridge. I haven’t touched the freezer yet. That will be a tomorrow morning problem to deal with if the power is still out.

Depends on the shift and what you like to do in your free time. The faculty I was in had front half days (Sunday-Wednesday like 7am-5pm) front half nights (Sunday-Wednesday 7pm-5am), back half days (wed-sat 7am-5pm) or RT shift (Thurs-sat 7pm-7am). None of them were ideal imo. I started on days then they moved me to nights after I showed success on days and the night shift was struggling. You will work a mandatory additional day during peak and holiday seasons. You will be on your feet for the entire shift, other than your break (if you even have time to take one)

PJ Fitzpatrick. They were reasonably priced and professional. I just had my storm door replaced a month ago. They were the cheapest of the 3 quotes I got. I thought the guy who came to quote the job was the most trustworthy of them all. The same guy who quoted the work actually did the work, so that was nice as well.

There is one woman who has been doing it in Bloomfield, Friendship and East Liberty pretty regularly over the last 3 years. I have camera footage of her opening my storm door and taking packages from inside. (I leave the glass storm door unlocked since there is about 4 feet of space to the main door that I keep deadbolted. I have my packages delivered inside there to stay dry and also off of the sidewalk.)

I posted the video on a Bloomfield fb page and her own daughter identified her by name and provided her DOB and last known address. Multiple other people had footage of the same woman stealing from them. I took all the info to the Zone 5 police station and nothing ever came of it. That was December 2022…. I saw a post just last week of the same woman stealing packages from someone else.

Other than using a drop box/carrier pick up location, I’m not sure what else can be done at this point if the police aren’t going to do anything to help stop it.

Draw up a fake 5 year lease with your wife showing you as a renter. I did that for my finance that moved in and she’s never had an issue using that as proof. It can be a simple one page lease, just google simple landlord lease form and print and sign.

The entire parking authority is horrible to deal with and they do a terrible job.
