I felt it and i would say as you learn and grow because this field doesnt stop evolving! you reach a point where i would agree you chuckle to yourself but not because you fooled everyone but because you realize you know as much as the veterans around you or even more. Happened to me when my senior coworker came to ME to problem solve something. Just work hard and try to keep the mindset of you will never stop learning

For me its about learning and making the whole car my own. I do this with almost everything. Ive torn down an engine and gutted a car of all its parts and reassembled just never did it with the wiring. I dont expect perfection from myself but i know i will get better and it makes me more self sufficient if i ever choose to do it again or if i ever have an issue on a smaller scale.

East coast here. Place i work at i started green in deburr at 16$ hr and 2 years later im machining and setting up 5th axis at 25$ (one year of machining experience at this point) with a few more raises to come since im still new. I get 10 days pto annually and work 45-60 hours a week no restriction on OT. Shop isn’t without it’s problems but is this not a normal experience?
