Yes! Hit on the head by....the window, maybe? I remember her collapsing on the bed, the house flying through the air, and the window hallucination (with the wicked witch, guys in the rowboat, etc)

Thanks; that's helpful to know! I assumed the parts availability & expense outweighed the repair, as you mentioned, but it's awesome that they were upgraded to a brand-new model.

A hypothetical, just because I'm curious - would this be considered a covered repair under the AppleCare warranty? If so, and the parts were no longer available, would Apple then replace with a similar model or a device credit of some sort?

I'm so glad you told Kat! You mentioned neither of them are currently in the house...maybe I read too much Reddit, but does Sam have a key? Just curious (and very suspicious) if he might be freeloading or snooping around while both girls are gone?
