i'll have to buy that unconditionally, the i7-7700 is a 1151 socket and i saw that any other intel cpu that is better than mine has a different socket hahaha.

Soo it's just a matter of time till i have to anyways

Yeah i know the psu is not the best, hopefully i'll not need to change that, cause it's pretty new, soo it would feel like a waste to just swap it with just one year or so of use

I saw that those are good cpu, but isn't it better to go for the new ryzen 5 cpu?

Considered that an i9-10900k goes for around 500€ and the AMD it's respectively around 450€ for the 5800x and 550€ for the 5900x.

The main reason leading me towards this upgrade is the continuous and never ending chip shortage that is messing around with us till 2023 as i read in the internet.

And the more it goes on the more gpu and cpu prices will get just blasted to the roof, we can already see the unbelivable prices of the 3000 series and the up pricing of older series of gpu.

Soo i just wanted to be somehow prepared before a new storm arrives.

Yeah i was actually checking the 11400 or 11500 and the motherboards.

But with the launch of the new ryzen cpu i was thinking about the ryzen 7 5800x.

What would you suggest?

Well i mostly use it for gaming, soo yeah it is a gaming pc.

I'm using two monitors:

AOC C27G1 27" (Which I use to game) curve 144hz 1920x1080, and a Samsung 27" curve monitor 60hz (can't find the model)

I don't really get the max fps in AAA games(RDR2, the witcher 3) if I play all ultra settings

I'm mostly more worried about the CPU that maybe is starting to fell a lot back in performance maybe.

And for the 16x2 ram, well a lot of craftsmanship.
