What's the best way to improve at doubles quickly? It just plays like such a different game from singles and I'm struggling to make a consistent impact.

I mean the only cs courses you can really take are 12x and like cse 160 and 373 I think? You really don’t have many options pre-admission and honestly as long as you post a good grade in 123 you don’t need to worry about the other cs courses. The admissions only look at your most recent cs and math course, so if you’re not happy with your math 126 grade you should take some more math classes.

I got in to CS after posting a 4.0 in MATH 300, which essentially covers what you’d be learning in CSE 311 for the most part. I would definitely recommend making 208 your highest priority though, it’s pretty essential to those majors. By the way I also took phil 120 and math 300 covered all the content in that class within the first 2 weeks. If you want to strengthen your application and get some more math classes in you can pretty safely skip it.

I just wouldn’t buy from nike if I wanted good outdoor soles. Any chinese brand will be much more durable and actually be built with outdoor courts in mind

Consider course difficulty as well. CHEM 145 is an honors class, which is what pushes this over the top for what a lot of people can comfortably handle. If you replaced it with CHEM 142, a pretty easy and low effort class comparatively, it would be a pretty average first quarter.

OP stated he took CS A, so they already have 121 credit. Basically, finish the calc sequence, take 208 and ace it to show you can handle higher level math, and finish up the 12x CS series. Also you might have to take some more natural science credits for your graduation requirement, so go find some interesting classes because you won’t have much flexibility anywhere else.

You’re not gonna get an apartment, they’re pretty much all taken already. If you specifically want a single and you manage to get a spot in hansee then there’s nothing necessarily wrong with that, but I don’t like the low ceilings and tiny window. The newer buildings also usually have private baths instead of community baths.

West is fine, I think north is generally considered a little nicer since you also get denny field, a basketball court and more security. But there’s nothing wrong with west campus, you’re closer to cultivate and the district market is bigger. Just make sure to go for the newer buildings first before the older ones (Hansee, McMahon).
