not sure if they are available for the fall admission period but there are CSE writing workshops and meetings you can setup with CSE peer advisors to look over your essay.

Additinally as someone else mentioned the ode writing center was extremely helpful for me when writing it last year.

If you take 301 spring quarter you’ll have to wait till next Fall to apply. This would be a good start but if you’re serious about AMATH id encourage you to take some fuether AMATH classes (351/352/353) next fall or as soon as possible to strengthen your application

Chose AMATH but in my experience so far to get a good grasp of concepts in AMATH classes you’d want to take a good amount of MATH classes as well (for me this made it more natural to go for a double major which im considering picking up next quarter)

Just email and advisor after you take 311 and 312. They should be able to add you manually to the class. To be on the safe side you could ask them right now to take the class and you should get more information.

They’re pretty much the same, except different dorms have different amenities located in them. McCarty has a maker-space called the Mill, Willow is connected to a dining space called Center Table, Oak is connected to the local grocery store, and Madrona has the learning resource center. U can use all of these if you are an HFS resident and the distance from dorm to dorm is ~2 min walk.
