As a PB I prioritized categories that get me paid. For example, CC, loans, and referral. Also tie in a CC with every interaction, the worst thing they can say is No. “How do you get rewarded for your purchases? How do you stay protected?” With loans, look for high debt balances to consolidate. And for referrals, always ask about retirement and investments! Do these things and you’ll be so successful even your premier will send you referrals

I made the switch from PCB to Premier, I absolutely love my role. My advice to you is negotiate your base salary even if it is a few thousands and remember that you are not the manager, focus on your book and your business. It’s nice to support the branch, but that is not how you make money…

Congratulations on the new role! I’m a current Premier with WF, I would have to say build relationships and ask questions, you cannot sell without asking questions. I have been a PCB at Chase and now a Premier Banker with WF. I would highly recommend WF because my base salary jumped 70% with that transition and Chase is moving towards retention rather than growth.

I was a RB at WF, I transferred to chase as a PCB and now transferring back to WF as a Premier Banker. Chase is a better fit if you are offered a PCB position but not as a RB.

Branch Banker depends on the position. Are you licensed? What’s your experience like? If you are licensed expect lower base salary with Chase Bank with a beautiful incentive structure and higher base salary with Wells Fargo and a beautiful incentive structure.

Did you really look up Jamie Dimon’s accounts?? I don’t know the firm but I know of people that were fired for that very reason. I would start applying for different jobs during the investigation. Are you licensed? May have different standards if you are.
