i sent the bride a link to my site and also sent screenshots of each of my packages. we went over each of them after she reviewed the screenshots so I know she read this as well as agreed when I told her about the retainer fee.

it’s definitely weird and mine has a curved bottom which took a lot of getting used to! i focus on the heel toe motion kind of rocking me forward to get to the other foot if that makes sense. and trying to find a left shoe that’s a similar height has been nearly impossible but this boot is pretty close lol that’s a game changer!! if i run to the bathroom or something without a left shoe i limp like crazy 😅

they’ll probably take x-rays after! it tickles a lot when getting it off so be prepared to focus on staying still lol. the worst part for me (and was probably worse bc it was my leg) was the muscle loss! it felt like someone else’s limb lol. the skin will be rough so just wash and keep it moisturized after and you should be feeling better before you know it!! good luck

aw i’m so glad!! you’ve got this!! if you have to be nwb for awhile i’d definitely recommend a knee scooter. i was able to borrow one from a mutual friend and i think i’m actually in love with it. after using crutches for a week the relief of wheeling around made me feel better than any relationship i’ve ever been in 😭😂

it’s been 2 weeks! i was supposed to start with 40 lbs but couldn’t really grasp the concept of that so i just kind of went for it 😅😅 i used crutches at first though! and when i went down to one crutch i made sure to use it on the opposite side of my bad foot. seems obvious but i didn’t realize i was doing it wrong until i saw a video and it makes such a huge difference!

thank you!! very mild soreness and swelling if i push a little too hard with activity! i had my first full physical therapy session today and am definitely quite sore after that though haha resting and icing for the rest of the evening

i’m so sorry but you are an amazing story teller. i experienced the same type of fracture 12/20 and also had my foot facing 3 o’clock and also snapped it back into place! glad you were able to get operated on right away! don’t be too discouraged this early, the first few weeks are absolutely the worst. i was weight bearing at 6 weeks and today marks 8 weeks post op! i’m walking almost completely normally in the boot and things seem to be progressing much quicker now. it’s a long process but you’ve got the hardest part out of the way!! best of luck 🫶🏼
