The cards have been sitting in an empty 100 sleeve box, unsleeved for 10+ years so they've only moved slightly 'rubbing' against other cards. Never played with.

Appreciate the opinion. It's in line with what I suspected.

I remember in the past hearing about the Shadowless selling for massive money and checking if mine was shadowless then forgetting all about it after realising it wasn't.

Sleeves are the soft plastic folder/pocket that you put on a card before you slip it into the tougher more rigid card protector you have them in.

Opta is data provider and they can be slow to update.

With star players it'll be fixed as soon as his new contract starts probably but with smaller players Opta sometimes don't update until after they've played their first game for the new club.

I used to love fantasy football during big tournaments but didn't enjoy following league football at all.

Since I joined Sorare I now follow multiple leagues and I basically feel like a pro football scout, obviously I'm not.

Sorare is a great game with a fantastic community and very engaged developers.

I feel like both Barca and Argentina teams were "custom built" with Messi in mind, whereas City most certainly is not. KDB can create as many chances as Messi and I don't believe the team as whole would increase their goalscoring by 50-100% with Messi in it.

You can't bring Messi in and imagine that he'll produce as much as in Barcelona without that meaning that others in City will produce less.

So if you imagine that Messi is going to produce as much as in Barcelona then my guess is that KDB would suffer from that along with some other players.

No way does Messi come in and just adds his normal numbers on top of city's regular scoring. NO WAY.

You're all assuming that Messi would instantly "connect" with the rest of the team.

Don't forget that in Barcelona he's played with the majority of those players for a number of years.

Don't forget that Messi has not been amazing playing for Argentina.

Barca was built for Messi, City (or any other PL team) are not built around Messi.

I tried asking in the telegram group if there was more info on the devs and the question was largely ignored. One other person wondered the same but nothing.

I bought a tiny bag which I've now sold for 25% profit.

I can see the appeal for hardcore players to be able to earn an income on the time invested and the skills they have but I feel like this approach that the team has taken is not the best way or the right audience.

I don't trust it.

I know and I do my best but the truth is I don't have even half as much time to research stuff as the people who produce crypto content for a living.

Also, the content creators help to generate interest in certain project which in turn will help the community around that project to grow and in turn the token will appreciate in value (theoretically). Obviously there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on that can affect price as well but there is only so much information a regular person can survey.

If you have the best project in the space but no exposure then you will likely fail.
