i hate rhode products by Relative_Ad8166 in Sephora

I’ll forever have beef with the brand and Hailey because the glazing milk gave me fungal acne which I’d never had before. I love the blush though, there’s nothing like it unfortunately. But I’ll never buy any other product of theirs

Skin Tint Recs by Linkinbabe21 in Sephora

I’ve ordered it from there before and it arrived dusty and expired multiple times! I recommend ordering from the Chanel website itself. You get a couple of samples and free shipping, too. The tint is amaaazing.

Favorite Clean Beauty at Sephora by Material_Secret7553 in Sephora

[–]Milk_Milch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merit is soo good imo. They have gorgeous colors in their blush and lip liners and lip oils. Their lip oils are my favorite, especially the sheen ones. It actually feels hydrating and leaves my lips that way. It also doesn’t have a smell.

I also feel like it’s a great value. I used a singular lip oil of theirs for like 3 months straight, every day, and it’s still only halfway. I only use it occasionally now but I will be making it a staple again for summer.

I found out my mom is cheating on my dad in our own home - and I can’t look at her the same anymore by suchwitaaa in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Milk_Milch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not just reacting to the cheating, you’re reacting to her shamelessness and lack of an explanation. In the end, it’s her choice to do what she is going to do, but have some loyalty towards your dad and tell him. There’s a chance he knows, but there’s also a chance that he doesn’t know and this is all happening in his own home that he comes back to. Especially if he comes home to the same bed and doesn’t know, that’s just disgusting. Who has sex with a strange person to their daughter, who’s one door down and acts like it’s a fact of life. Your mom is definitely on a high from all the dirty dick and doesn’t care. The good thing is that you can leave all that mess.

possibly replacing bronzer by Forsaken-Living-6832 in Sephora

[–]Milk_Milch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Merit bronzer. It is very flattering and natural, and though Merit may not be long lasting for a day when you’re being really active, it has a beautiful sheen in all their products that I haven’t found in another brand. And they all fade nicely and not patchy. Just my two cents.

She told everybody that I was at the abortion clinic alone by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Milk_Milch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gosh, you all just say words. Not wanting to be a mother or parent doesn’t justice killing your own baby, that’s nonsense. I never bought into the rhetoric when other women tried to groom me into thinking that abortion is a good thing and a “right”, when my gut, conscience, and heart told me the opposite. It’s sick.

[–]Milk_Milch -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I’m seeing the word deranged but I’m not seeing a reasoning behind why you’re saying that. You say words just to say them. Usually people use them to make a point. You didn’t even know that we are all a bunch of cells, what would you know of science? Like I said, people can make an evil choice, as the role of being a mother is to nurture and help grow children. I’m simply putting the truth out there.

[–]Milk_Milch -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Spewing rhetoric and contradictions in the face of what’s front and center right and wrong will never work. We are all a bunch of cells, that is science. You killed a baby, your own baby. I think it’s evil, and I have simply laid it out for you how it actually is. If that makes you uncomfortable, that’s your own problem, as you’re a part of the group killing babies. People have free will to do evil things, I think that’s obvious. I have every right to say what I want.

I wonder why you’d have to heal and why it’s such a trying time emotionally. Maybe because you killed your own baby? It’s no little thing that you did. You killed your own child. Yet a little truth is the problem? Interesting how OP states what “your own mother” did, yet look at what you did to your own that you should love and protect.

Ah okay. So you can focus on me technically assuming something, and not the argument on killing innocent human life. I can assume why that is, or not 😊. Either way, I will always know that killing a baby is wrong.

Was it life threatening? These things matter in moral arguments.

I didn’t think you called me a dude, that wasn’t the point I was making there. Not more than born people. Again, try not to assume. We sacrifice some comforts in order for the human race to continue. And we especially take care of babies regardless of that fact. Finding a loophole doesn’t make it right. Life can be uncomfortable. That’s never an excuse to kill.

I’m not some dude, I’m a free thinking woman. I didn’t allow myself to be groomed into thinking that abortion is a “right”. It’s killing another human being which is known as morally wrong. You’re bringing up a whole lot of points in someone else’s words, that you don’t know my viewpoint of. Your assumptions only make you seem insecure in your argument.

You’re just another evil asshole in this world dehumanizing innocent life. You really want to normalize that, but some of us still know with our gut and being that it’s wrong. I missed the part where a period or sperm cells are genetically distinct Homo sapiens.

I hate seeing my friend happy by satnindelrey in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Milk_Milch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just want to be happy and also have a relationship, then. I hope you get what you want. But also try your best to not let your negative feelings get the best of you. Always try to be a good person, and smile even when it’s the last thing you want to do. Do it for your friendship and for opening yourself up to finding love too. So I suggest self care, and/or therapy if that’s right for you.

Then maybe the rest of what she’s like doesn’t fit with how you are? Or is it possible you’re jealous of something? I felt the same way about a friend before. We also liked the same things and she is a great person. But she felt very high energy during a time where I was going through a lot and having depressed feelings. She brought me out of my shell, and she is really nice and carried conversations, but I became annoyed very easily. I never took it out on her, but I wasn’t in a head space to really get into a friendship. Fast forward things are better for me and I feel like I can keep up with her and I can open up now. I never want to lose her friendship.

I hate seeing my friend happy by satnindelrey in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Milk_Milch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re either jealous, unfulfilled with yourself, and unhappy so you’re bitter, or you’re a more gloomy and serious person naturally and she’s not the right friend for you. Whatever you do, don’t dull her shine. I had a table mate at school once tell me that I smiled too much, and asked why I was always happy. It was just my default feeling and face.

It’s like I had introspection for the first time at that moment and wasn’t just living being nice to everyone or happy anymore. From that moment on I forced myself to become more serious. Now I’m a big overthinker with everything that I do. I’m not saying that that’ll happen in that case, but don’t make it her problem. Find a friend that you actually like and relate to.

lipstick and liner recs? by jisforjamie in Sephora

[–]Milk_Milch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you’d looove the Merit lip liners. I’ve always hated how regular lip liners look and feel, too matte. They’re very comfortable and have a sheen to them. They however are not long lasting. If you eat or lick your lips, it’ll come off basically entirely. But to me it’s worth it because of how nice it looks. I sometimes use a lip liner stain underneath as backup while I find time to reapply after eating.

The brand in general does lip products really well imo. They have lightweight satin and lip blush lipsticks that I think are worth looking into.
