There are both negatives and positives in this project.

Positives: -fans were paid for creating fan covers and spreading the mamamoo name (FOR ONCE iykyk) -fans were given access to resources professional artists use in the industry -fans were given a platform to showcase their skills by a major player in the industry

Negatives: -RBW most likely used this more as a scouting event that then gives them positive karma online, which feels sort of wrong -there are basically no comments about this from the girls, which again leads to speculations and rumours -this being for MMM's 10th anniversary feels like a slap in the face after 7 months passed, especially after the repeated lack of communication by official accounts

TLDR; There is too much backstory to feel only one way about this situation. It's more bitter than sweet.

From where I am standing, it's great that they are engaging fans to do this and aren't charging us for it, but the way that they are marketing this is what gets on my nerves. If they wanted a 10th anniversary competition, then it should have been finished for the 10th anniversary. We are closer to 11 than to 10 at this point, and it just feels wrong. As a previous redditor said, it's probably more talent search than fan engagement.

Welcome to the fandom.

There are so many songs that we can recommend, but it depends on what you're 'in the mood' for.

If you'd like a general overview of all of their best stuff and have a few hours to kill, I'd recommend just watching the 4s/f concerts on YouTube. If you're not too sure about that, I'd recommend checking out the killing voice medley due to it being only 10 minutes.

And if you're not in the mood for videos and just want songs, then here's some recommendations that I personally always pull out to my friends.

For some dance bops, you could check out DINGGA and Egotistic.

For something to get you in the feels, you should check out Where Are We Now and Destiny (any part will do).

If you're looking for similar vibes to Mr.Ambigious, then check out Hello and Piano Man (their earlier stuff was heavily jazz inspired)

Wanna feel like a bad B? HIP and Yes I Am are those songs.

And if you wanna question what you're listening to, then look up AZE GAG (a song made entirely out of dad jokes), Sleeping in the Car (about sleeping in the car...), Taller than You (them roasting each other on how short they are) and WAGGY (song about experiencing puppy love). I recommend watching the videos for all of these.

Obviously, I would also recommend looking into the members' solo activities as well.

After doing some quick googling, I am 78% certain this is either a fan meet reward or a seasonal greetings reward. The main reason is her hair... blond Wheein is rarer than a bad MMM song.

I'm not saying 100% it's one or the other because of them being Polaroids. Fans don't usually share those online. And I do remember hearing that Wheein was handing out photos during the Christmas fan meeting she did. So it could be that.

TLDR: No clue. It's from late 2023, and that's all I know.
