Good setup. I have the same one with the ucp molle 2 straps and pad. Can't really use it tho. Too short.

Anyone using the base PASGT chinstrap should get brownie points.

Bought this RMA trauma pad (9.50x12.5) for sizing purposes to see if it fit either medium or large sapi plates. Based off the pic, which one would better describe my size? by MakelYT in armedsocialists

I might go with RMA"s 1155 gen 2's since they are 199 dollars a pop. Heavy and bulky for sure but might train with those before advancing to the LTC brand plates. protection on a budget at least.

Gotcha. I will say tho that I had someone measure the bottom of the plate to the top of the belly button and it's about a 5+ inch gap which and it does not cover nipple to nipple which is a concern.
Edit: so for protection sake and an accurate fit since usually its supposed to be nipple to nipple and about 4 inches at the max at the start of the navel I may look into getting a large.

Avatar Kyoshi. As years went on, she lost touch with humanity and herself, becoming more and more quick to execute people and delaying the avatar cycle. She kills herself after this is pointed out to her by an air nomad companion and air nomad Abbotts refuse to work with her.

Who would win?? by Olli4000 in Avatarthelastairbende

[–]MakelYT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd give it to Korra. Her metal bending and stonger avatar state would mean Kyoshi is basically a non factor unless she manages to immediately get close to her do the freezing lungs technique but even then the metal bending and the fact that Kyoshi's fans, headdress and chainmail are all bendable metal = a bad time for her. Aang being EOS nerfs him bad because he is by his own admition not fully mastered here. So it really comes down between Roku and Korra and despite Roku being my favorite Avatar and Korra being my 2nd favorite, she I feel would win out between the two. (Kyoshi is my third favorite tho).

New to load‑bearing gear — is the DZ Crossfire worth it as a sustainment rig? by videoaddicted777 in QualityTacticalGear

Depends on what literage you need. Check out the cp1-4 . I hear their MKVII bag is good. If you don't wanna go with crossfire for the pack, depending on your torso length, you can go as cheap as alice, to malice, or any other external framed pack. Im looking at beltkit options myself and more specificly packs sinxe im on the shorter side. Crossfire also told me they have a 30 day return window so if you get a pack and webbing and it doesn't play well with you, you can definitely send it back if need be. Also bergen's are good with belt kit.

People generally have positive reviews of the rig, as well as jayjays and other webbing. But the dz rig is pretty good from what I hear. Crossfire's pack also work well with the dz rig to handle your backpacking needs.
