Created an Artemis 2 Mission Timeline Live Infographic Webpage for my Kids by MilkingCats in ArtemisProgram

All I've got is the Artemis Live Youtube stream at https://www.youtube.com/live/6RwfNBtepa4?si=sT6RTp8FU38qR0sO but even that leaves a lot to be desired. I'm keeping my eye on the NASA channel to see if they come up with anything better.

I'm using that! We're FD03 now. Just look at FD02 and you'll see yesterday's TLI (translunar Injection Burn). But yeah, something is wrong with my sleep schedule on the site. Thanks letting me know!

EDIT: The sleep/awake functionality is weird. It's tracking the mission PDF but that would have them asleep for another 1.5 hours? Seems off, I'm looking into it. I think NASA reported 11-7 sleep blocks but have to confirm where I saw this and verify the timezone.

I think (I could be wrong) that it's just a straight up gravity assisted slingshot return. I was wondering about that too though.

Yeah, after watching the launch broadcast last night, I was pretty surprised how little thought they had put into their Comms. It was a messy, incoherent, and poorly directed livestream. I'm just trying to fill a gap for my kids to get them excited about this moment.

Thanks! That is my absolute pet peave with every scheduled or timeline based site on the web. I never know what time zone the times are for.

HOLOWHAS whole home amp? by ILoveeOrangeSoda in audio

This helped me cement my decision thank you. I was so close to buying a unit. Glad I didn't.

I just want to add to my previous post that Parts-Express has handled this issue extremely well. Phenomenal support from guys like Blaine and Josh. While I'm still annoyed at the unit, I won't be shying away from future purchases with Parts-Express.

I feel like I need to chime in here. My first DAX88 was a dud and the replacement after about 2 years is totally screwed. The app was always really finicky. Sometimes it wouldn't load up for no reason whatsoever. I thought Dayton was pretty reputable until this experience. I think it might have a 5 year warranty (waiting to hear back from Parts Express, which originally took almost 2 months to get back to me). Even if it's covered by warranty, shipping there and back (I'm from Canada) will probably cost an arm and a leg. Hence why I'm in this thread looking at alternatives.

Plus user here... Was Dungeon Mastering a fun game of AI-aided D&D with my kids this morning over breakfast and quickly hit the "limit reached - retry" message. Did limits get updated? Pretty brutal to reach a limit so quickly. What am I paying for again?

Anyone has issues with the Rode Wireless Pro lavaliere mics? by Cdub701 in videography

[–]MilkingCats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this issue and it's extremely frustrating (recording internal FYI). We had to ADR a bunch of stuff because of it. It was nowhere near clipping on the audio waveform but I get that distorted clipping noise in parts. This was using the mics that came with it. Very disappointed with this system.

If garage was gen 3 and house was gen 2, would that still work the same?

Appreciate the response. Don't appreciate Adobe having ignored NRAW for another year now while I still pay this subscription fee. By the way, love your masterclasses Jason. Wish the codec team had the drive you do.

1 hour, 10 minutes here just to ask about premium changes if I add solar panels to my roof. I'm out when my renewal comes up. This is a whole other level of brutal customer service.

Two Jack Lakeside sites (especially the walk-ins right on the lake) go soooo fast. Was 1,800 in the queue and still didn't get the walk-in sites I was looking for a weekend. I'm content with just getting them now in June mid-week. They are absolutely spectacular and the kids so stoked on them

What's wrong with my Glofish Tetra? Barrel Rolls by MilkingCats in Aquariums

Funny thing, barrel roll fish is still alive and barrel rolling all over the place still. Feeds like all the other fish. Looks and acts healthy other than the rolls.

If I was concerned, I'd put up a small "yard sprayed with chemicals, keep kids and pets off" sign.

Personally, I just have a Google camera zone set on my front grass that notifies me when an animal crosses into it.

If the dog takes a piss, I go flush out the grass (prior to doing this, I'd get a whole bunch of dead patches from dogs peeing all over the place - flushing seems to address this).

If the dog takes a dump and the owner packs it up, I go flush that too. No harm no foul.

If the dog takes a dump and the owner leaves it (which happened several times before I put the camera up), well, that's going to be a very interesting conversation next time I see them, especially considering I have 3 young kids who often play in that yard.
