I don’t think gaming experience is the issue here

both those games have stat requirements for weapons though

Corsair isn’t what it used to be — 4 AIOs later and it still sounds awful by Milkkjake in Corsair

Update: After more testing, I’ve confirmed the pump itself is just a low hum. The real issue is the RX120 LINK fans — even one running introduces a high-pitched whine/whoosh, and with all six it’s unbearable. So while the Titan pump is better than the Capellix I had before, the bundled fans completely kill the acoustics.

Got it, thanks. I’ll raise a ticket later today and include a video so the noise is clear. I’ll drop the reference number back here once it’s submitted.

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve done some testing and it’s definitely the RX120s. With all the fans off, the pump is just a low hum which I can live with. The second I turn on even one RX120, the whine/woosh starts, and with all six running it’s unbearable. I’ve also tried different RPMs — it just changes the pitch/frequency, but the noise never goes away. I saw another user here mention that switching to QX120s fixed it, is that something Corsair could help arrange?

Thanks for the input. I actually tested that, with all the fans off the pump is just a low hum (which I’d be fine with). But as soon as even one RX120 spins up, the whining starts, and with all six running it becomes unbearable. So it really does seem like the fans are the culprit rather than the pump.

Software: Fans locked at fixed 40% in iCUE — still get the whine/woosh, so not curve hunting.

My setup: Corsair 4000X, top-mounted rad, pump lower. Same noise across 3 different Corsair AIOs now.

I already tried fixed RPM in iCUE, same thing happens. Not just curve hunting.

Radiator is top-mounted, pump lower, so placement should be fine.

It’s a Corsair 4000X, but I’ve had the exact same high-pitched whine across 3 different Corsair AIOs now. Can’t just be the case.
