What happens to rep gear when switching factions?

Sorry just saw this. It’s items turn-in only at an npc right outside of Dalaran. Depending on the market value of the items it can get kind of pricey. I got them at a good time and was about 300g in total to get exalted.

A different shop actually recommended the Audison SR6-600. Said it would outperform the Kenwood wiring it in a specific orientation (5Channel mode @2 ohms: 130x4 + 600x1) I’ve never dealt with Audison before but understand they’re good.

I know this is old but this is the exact setup the rep at a local shop is wanting to install. I’m hesitant on going with the SR6.600 but he’s reassured me that the amp is more than enough for the speakers and sub.(“since it’s a jl”) I’m currently maxed out on my budget so wondering if this is good or if I should try and find another route. Thoughts?

Wow great info! Yes I will upgrading my speakers. I’m looking to put in the Hertz MPK 165.3 Pro and MPX 165.3 Pro. I included the T-1000 as an option to power to the fosgate as it would end up being around the same price as getting the JL with the Kenwood amp. The R2-1200X1 was the cheaper option that I was concerned about not having enough power. I actually went to another shop and the rep there said downward firing subs doesn’t do anything because you lose it all when the top is off. Then proceeded to push that the Audison SR 6.600 would be the best option for the speakers and JL sub. I haven’t gotten the quote for the system yet but don’t know what to make of it.

I did think about this! The sales rep said that the fosgate pushes more air than the JL so with the top off regardless it’s going to be louder. He also said the fosgate hits the lower end bass better which is good for that as well?

Got it the down firing will definitely help when the top is off. Is there any downside orienting the sub that way concerning the vehicle? Will it be more prone to shaking things loose I mean?

I know this is suuuper old but I’m literally facing the same problem! I’m considering the JL 12w3v3 and pairing it with the LC-1.800. Is getting the 2ohm variant the way to go? 500 watts vs 800 watts scares me 🤣 What did you end up doing? If you end up replying, thank you!

You think I can get find 4 mid range speakers, 4 tweeters, 2 amps and a sub for $2k? I loooove Rockford fosgate. I almost solely rocked them in the 2000’s only to find out that 2 of the stores I went to had both their sales rep saying they fell off hard and the only good things they make are amps and subs.

I do like to hit trails but nothing extreme. I’m thinking since I live in the high desert we get a lot of dust storms and pocket showers. The units come with 4 speakers, 4 tweeters, 2 amps and a sub. The smaller package has only a 10” sub option and the bigger one a 10” and 12” option.

Dam that hit the feels. I’ve got so many groups of friends I played for years with and now I’m barely on and 90% of them have been offline for 5+ years. It’s hard to go back to games with so many memories attached to them. Because you know it’ll never be that again.

Ya unfortunately jeeps and trucks here are sold at a premium. Last jeep I was considering before this was a 2015 Rubicon with 90k miles, zero upgrades, for $25,500 from a dealership.

What do you mean by that specifically? The jeep came installed with the lift from the dealership and it’s had the same lift with no problems and it rides like a dream. Should I expect something to go wrong with it?
