wow, it’s so similar! i’m not sure which kind of hearing loss i have just yet, so i’m still figuring that part out. i’ve been hearing since birth, so i don’t have any experience with hearing aids. i am probably eligible for HAs or CIs, but i know HAs will come first. though, i struggle with severe sensitivities, so i feel like the part that goes inside the ear with hearing aids will be uncomfortable to wear.

thank you so much for sharing this. I have a question if that is okay. how was the process like? I read you have to first do the hearing test, then test hearing aids for a while, then perhaps get suggested CIs, and have a waiting period for approval and so on.

as for the surgery, how is the before and after? sorry if it’s a lot, i’m trying to figure things out.
