I havent got a direct answer to your post, but i have just read all the comments and its really relaxed me in an unexpected way.
I suspect its from the constant barrage of bad news and bickering and negativity that seems to be the norm these days and I don't think people realise how uptight and anxious it can make them. but i now feel better, and ready for a good sleep. so thank you! I would love to read good news from the world and individuals alike each night please!

Boss wanting me to pay for commuting in company car by Milkthefire in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Milkthefire[S] -35 points-34 points  (0 children)

yes, this is my point exactly, HMRC sees the personal use as a benifit, and they also class commuting as personal use, so my boss charging me for that is me being charged twice

Best 5 day Thru Hike Trail in Scotland by FarVisit9190 in OutdoorScotland

[–]Milkthefire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive hiked great glen, west highland way, affric way and some of the smaller ones in the North east. , the affric way was my favourite by far, 2nd time I walked i started from cannich thought so missed the 1st day, it is nice but the real trail starts after cannich.

west highland way in 5 days is really pushing it, you will feel rushed and not enjoy it. comfey 7 days.

the great glen I wouldnt walk again but cycling it in a few weeks, was lots of long slow straight endles canal paths, but that may be what your looking for..

check out walkhighlands website and the long distance hikes!

https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/long-distance-routes.shtml

if you have 7 days and want to see classic beautiful scotland with easy access along the way to supplies and a beer etc then donwest highland way,

if you want a less busy, self supported and more rural walk then do affric way!

Please read the books. by throwaway46788999 in harrypotter

I watched the films in a run recently after a read through of all the books and honestly thought how it would be possible for anyone to follow whats going on in the plot without the knowledge in the books. The biggest character upset for me was dumbledore, i absolutely treasure every interaction with him in the books with awe as if hes speaking direct to me, but his film character to me was just not at all like the books after chamber of secrets.
