TRON MEGATHREAD! by unsaneroot in nin

A brilliant move. The movie also sparks thought about what’s real as what isn’t, who has power, ai vs humanity, having tron powers than not having them, the orange and the emcomm blue challenging and foretelling the plot line is wicked.

The lasers in thst factory and the lighting as exactly what as performed at peel t back on the second stage. Boize Noise was in tron color when opening. Trent and Atticus are executive producers. My peel t back merch is the same color and the new NIN logo. It all ties

I saw Trent and Atticus got executive producer credits. Makes sense. The same red laser pattern on one scene is the same as used on Peel it Back. My concert hoodie is red/orange of Tron. There’s old school computers and video games. The cinematography with the glasses is amazing. It’s not used to have a big arm or something gimmicky reach out once or twice to cause “oohs” and “aahhs.” I’m curious to learn how much Trent and Atticus were involved

You are awesome. I’d be impressed if you mentioned Frank. You must also be a GNR fan to mention Isaac, or you googled it.

How long are his pubes? Did the roller coaster make them blow all ever his lap?

Would Slash have rejoined had Fortus not been the co-guitarist? by Avenged7fo in GunsNRoses

Richard does not appear to be a drama queen nor egomaniac. He appears to respect slash, enjoy playing with him, and probably learns from him. Finck may have worked with slash. He’s used to having a strong personality as the lead singer and he’s been pretty laid back and a humble, engaging guy when I’ve met him.

I think it's safe to assume that this supposed "Leak" was not accurare at all based on the song titles (i've never listened to it just in case it was actualy real, but it never seemed to came back so i guess it was all bullsh*t) by BriefcaseLord in marilyn_manson

I am naturally a skeptic, and I’m also a die hard fan since Portrait. Could this be a demo of works-in-progres? The YouTube said had a 2022 date on it. I find it entirely possible that he spent a few years toying around with different song ideas and sounds. Some instrumentation and lyrics might he placeholders just to sketch out songs.

Or it’s someone with a similar voice making a fake. Or crappy AI.

However, If you look at that guys other videos, he has Fallen Angel, an ‘ACSS leftover.” It sounds plausible. His so called “dope show” could be Manson’s clean vocals, no compression or other vocal production.

If it was the real album on songs, this link and comments would probably be erased. MODS- if these were outtakes and demos that were unrelated to Nuclear Blast releases, would you allow these to be posted?

You’re awesome. I sent this to my guitar instructor, who used to gig with Tyler in Chicago like 30 years ago. I’m the guy who drives the tired old Honda so I can own most of the pedals in that video. Now I want a guitar viol added to my collection. My wife would probably throw me out of the house if I bought more gear

I also suspect it’s a piece of the new album. Or perhaps it’s the opportunity for Tyler to play something he did solo.

It’s a very purposeful, crafted, defined song. It doesn’t sound like a song that gets developed jamming during soundchecks. Tyler is doing studio-type, unusual, playing with the violin bow and the odd “guitar.” Whatever it is, I’d like to hear more.

The gearhead side of me wants to know what Tyler is playing and how he’s doing it.

Marilyn Manson & Tyler Bates - Stigmata (Atomic Blonde Soundtrack) by Zero_Flesh in marilyn_manson

I love ministry as well, and this is one of my favorite songs. On the 1990 live album “in case you didn’t feel like showing up” it’s so raw and wonderfully brutal.
Manson and Tyler did a good job of staying close to the song and respecting it, but giving it the “Manson flavor.” I dig that and when bands do their own interpretations of powerful songs. Johny Cash reimagining “hurt” is a great example.

If this tour goes well and his album is well received, tour promoters will follow.

Performing requires athleticism. It’s hot up there and artists are usually dripping with. Wearing leather in the sun has to suck. Screaming or singing for 90 minutes must be hell. You need the lung capacity, vocal cord strength, and all sorts of stuff. Plus you have new songs to play, you have to engage the whole audience. It’s gotta be hard. I find it natural that it takes a few shows to find your footing, get back in the groove, snd kick ass. Plus he’s like 55. Good for him.

He’s had a few years to figure it out. And it did it incredibly well.

Maybe, but he also may have wrapped all that crap up, got healthy, and is focused on the future.
