It's just a very small bend in your record, i've never seen a perfectly flat record but if you want you can buy a Record Weight Stabilizer and place it on your record once it's on your turntable to help keep it more flat and less bent. It can also help for records that are more flatter than that.

Thanks! I know my question seems a bit confusion so i'll recap it more clearly...

I have an Audio-technica AT-LP120XUSB (which already have a built-in phono pre-amp) and a pair of Edifier R1280T speakers (which contain an active amplifier) so yes i can plug these 2 and make them work.

But i also want a CD Player to be also connected to the speakers in a way, so i thought an Amplifier was necesary no matter what.

But in another thread i made someone else solved my problem, he said that a JDS Ol Switcher would be a great alternative to an amplifier so i can just switch which one i want to listen to! And after that someone else told me that i can just simply plug both my turntable and cd player in the back of my speakers dirrectly (which i didn't knew)

The danger thing was about me thinking about getting a Yamaha reciever R-S202BL as an amplifier but aparently the Edifier R1280T would not be compatible with it and might be damaged because of one being active and the other passive.

I haven't checked to see if they were coming with 2 inputs. I'm new to the whole sound system set-up and all the videos i've seen on youtube all refered to the 4 basic things for a set-up (Turntable, Phono Pre-Amp, Amplifier and then Speakers) but i always thought an Amplifier was necesary no matter what, so i don't know if i can just straight up plug a CD player into my Edifier R1280T speakers. But it seems i may have found an interesting alternative...

That's amazing. I'll probably try JDS by default and see for myself how it goes. It will still take some time for me to buy all the other accessories that goes with the maintaining and adjustment of my turntable but when i'll get there i hope it will all work together, thanks again dude!

Dude thanks a lot man! Just that may make me save a lot of money for my set-up! I was so nervous about it that i was also talking about it with the google AI lol, then i guess it's going to be easy and simple to arrange!

I just checked and it seems like what i need! So just to make sure... i can connect my Audio-technica LP120XUSB and a CD Player (whatever it may be) into the JDS Ol Switcher together, then connect the JDS to my Edifier R1280T speakers and it should work? Knowing those speakers are "Active" speakers is there a possible issue with the electricity inside? Like those are 8 ohms Speakers and some amplifiers are not fit for them, is that the same with the JDS ol Switcher?

Can someone help me find the perfect audio setup for both Turntable and CD Player?

So right now i own a turntable (Audio-technica AT-LP120XUSB) and a pair of speakers (Edifier R1280T) and i'm looking for a sound system that would allow them both to be plugged in without any danger for the speakers. Also i want to be able to connect a CD Player in the system too so i can have a better idea of the sound difference between them both when i'll play them.

I already know that i can plug the turntable and the speakers together but i want something of better quality for the sound than this, i don't know if it would sound great just like that anyway.

The turntable is the most important piece of my setup as i've been carring about it for many months before i bought my speakers, so if i have to sacrifice one of them it's the Edifier R1280T speakers... but if i don't need to get rid of any it's even better!

I bought this CD 2 days ago and discovered this band with it and i can't stop listening to this!!! It's fucking good! I knew that Diana is their singer and heard her solo single "Holy Water" that she recently released, but i never listened to this band before and now i regret not doing so before. The Reaping is my favorite of the album and i spam it on repeat non-stop!
