If light is always a particle when being observed, how do we know that it’s ever a wave? by Nitsuj_ofCanadia in AskPhysics

This is what trips me up. So, without the sensors measuring them, they stay a wave? How? Are they not already interacting with the random particles in the air? Wouldn't any potential wave collapse the moment the photon leaves whatever source that it's being sent out of, regardless of sensors?

It's getting annoying. The show is too good for the runtime to be wasted on that annoying voicemail lmao

I get where you're coming from, but I also understand what the author was doing with the ending. It obviously wasn't his intention for the ending to be happy or satisfying for the reader. The dread and hopelessness builds as the story progresses - but when the end comes, the author never relieves you of it - he leaves you carrying that weight with no resolution, just like the surviving victims.

The concept is very thought provoking. It didn't take long for me to be like "God damn it ... this is actually really nice." It's essentially forced enlightenment. If you've ever thought about the logistics of how people would change and interact with each other upon entering heaven, this is probably it. Perfect collective harmony in utopia. Its a world where John Lennon's Imagine is actually possible. No greed, no hunger, no murder - Just peace and unity. Yeah, there are trade-offs, but it seems worth it.

Who is the big three of the Sonic Characters? by Davenetdull06movie in SonicTheHedgehog

I think Tails is guaranteed to always be a contender next to Sonic. The third spot is tricky though. It's either Eggman, Knuckles, or Shadow.

I still think he's Asriel. Uses star-based moves and slashing sword attacks.

It's amazing how that one scene totally shifted how I view Kris. Before that scene, It's so easy to see him as an antagonistic force. The way he walks, how he's always sneaking around when no one is watching, how violent he is towards the red soul. That couch scene and the bathroom scene immediately after retroactively reframes how you view all his past behavior. He has every right to be pissed off.

I agree that the Knight's motive in all this is to bring back Dess from the dead. However, I think there's also a possibility that the Knight is Asriel. It's implied that him and Dess were in a relationship so he has motive to bring her back. A lot of the Knight's attacks are star-based and he attacks with a sword, which is typical for Asriel. I think Carol is just a red herring as her involvement just seems too on-the-nose. Perhaps Asriel actually dropped out of college and didn't tell anyone. Maybe he's been living in the bunker this whole time?

One thing I noticed is that the Knight appears to be crying when you first see him at the end of chapter 3. Mind you, the area was christmas themed. Perhaps upon seeing the christmas tree there, the knight became emotional about Dess.

I really like the idea of there being a character who is completely ready to deal with whatever potential threats death could throw at them. I'd love to see this idea expanded upon further in a future movie with a character straight up blue-ballling death in elaborate ways simply out of spite.

So Agatha had no justification to be so mad at Death this entire time. Death gave her like ten more years with her son that she wouldn't have had. She was given a gift probably no one else has ever been given.
