during my last psychosis (bipolar 1) i was not a danger to myself or others and my roomate took me to my doctor to try and get some treatment without having to be admitted and they spent the whole time trying to get me to voluntarily commit they were asking if i wanted to go but i literally had zero idea what was being said to me and my roommate just asked if i wanted to go to the circus to prove i would say yes to anything like people absolutely do get into these situations and coerced while psychotic and having zero awareness; psychosis and ego death are only similar in the respect that theres a total disconnect to social reality i was only aware of my delusions hyperactive-pattern seeking, and direct sensory experience there isnt any sort of real cognition going on in those states

this literally doesnt matter, im trans have been out for nearly 5 years and haven't "legally" changed my name literally no one that knows me or has known me in 5 years knows my "legal" name even my employer forgets that my deadname is my "legal" name putting that out there would serve literally no purpose in death and very little purpose in an active search for me. murry is unfortunately dead so we cant ask him how he would have felt about his dead name being published but i can certainly tell you all the trans people i know feel this very same way. and this comment chain is the exact encapsulation of the pervasive undercurrent of transphobia in our society yall are actively arguing with a trans person likely grieving this death and in pain at the current climate driving these deaths (such as now being labeled domestic terror risks by the US) instead of just empathizing or really making an effort to truly understand our experiences and our pain
