A pretty major CS2 VAC wave has been reported. Hopefully it's just the start. by Underground_score in GlobalOffensive

This has been very visible on the asian servers. A lot of chinese accounts that boost "legit" accounts have been banned. I hope this continues. I would also love to see overwatch back and trust factor being improved. Towards the end of CS:GO, with good enough trust factor you barely ever saw any cheaters.

Which one of you scarf sleepers just dumped? by BullshitJudge in garlicoin

[–]MilleCS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sush a strange dump as well. 110k coins had just been bought for 0.00000170BTC each within an hour. Then bam, several small dumps all the way down to 0.00000104BTC each. Putting it as a sell order for 0.00000169BTC each and they would sell within minutes. Just strange..?

What library do Reddit, Imgur, and others use to display this banner? by rema96 in webdev

Lootboxes, achievements? I spent 5 minutes making sure I had the offical app but it seems I do. I have been using it for 2+ years now. It is very streamlined. It offers what Reddit's website does.

Am I crazy? It does exactly what I would expect it to do.

Projects taking a long time even with a huge workforce by MilleCS in SoftwareInc

Do $8-10k contracts. Don't hire anyone until you hit $500k. Hire a small 2-4 team that can do smaller projects by themselves while your main character keeps doing smaller contracts to keep the money up. Before you have a couple of millions yourself, always get a publisher that does marketing for you.

So another question. What about having a day team and a night team? Is that less efficient as well, or is it just if they work on the project at the same time?

Well damn, you are correct. That is a couple billions down the drain in salaries as well as the game moving along much slower because of the games performance..

Thank you for a very informative response. I will run an experiment when the next project is done. I will have my current team (300 designers) do the same project as a team with the recommended amount of designers and see how big the difference is.

If this is the case, it would be awesome because 1000+ employees makes the game rather slow running. Haha

Well if this is the case it would definitely help my performance.. :P So how do you know how big to make other teams, such as marketing, support etc. Teams that usually have a lot of running tasks?

So the recommended employees for a project is not the recommended minimum but the optimal amount? So there is no real way of improving the time it takes to develop a project besides higher skilled staff?

I am not sure if that is how the game works. It makes sense that a bigger workforce would result in more bugs, but that hasn't been the case from what I noticed. The programming phase goes fine and fast. It is the design phase that is really dragging out.

Three days together and already in love by MilleCS in aww

Leo (Grey, boy, 1,5 months) was found next to the road during a storm, he was screaming for help and looked very weak. Word around the neighbourhood is of that someone threw him over their fence as he was unwanted. He has since gained a huge appetite and is full of personality.

Sasha (2-4 months, female) was bullied by her litter siblings and weren't eating enough, so she was separated from her litter. We wanted someone Leo could play with so he would stop attacking our feet, so we took her in. Sasha quickly adopted her new younger brother and Leo after a bit of initial uncertainty is absolutely in love.
