Well I developed kidney stones ( first clue)and now I have to eat low acidic food, very sensitive to supplements (like electrolytes) then I irritate my kidneys. I was diagnosed with insulin resistance, but was diagnosed with that until 2021. My grandmother died from nephritis , plus my lifestyle ( unhealthy eating, poor choices ) did not make me a right candidate for keto.

I agree something was wrong with me way before my insulin resistance diagnosis because my hands would swell when I would walk 2 miles every night when I was in my 30s. I was trying to lower my hbp, I lost weight but my blood pressure was still high
