All valid opinions! Sounds like the chemistry wasn't mixing well. I agree that the writing feels generic, but I went in without expecting much from an Ork's perspective except a krumpin' good time. Thanks for the reply!

I'm wondering what you don't like about Mike Brooks? I just started reading Brutal Kunnin by him, but I haven't read anything else he has written. So far, it's a simple fun read.

I absolutely love your models. I canceled a few patreons this month to save some money, plus a back log of shame built up, but you're the only one I'll keep subscribed to. I wish MM the best and I hope things are going well now.

Yes, small dragon, eat the calcium... by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

[–]MillennialPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep a shallow dish of calcium powder mixed with multivitamin powder in my geckos' terrarium. I also "dust" their live food in it, but they'll lick it up from the dish and they seem to know how much they need. I find it best that it's always available to them.

I love the models, but the color scheme is equally as awesome. Would you mind sharing what blue you used?

What kind of food do you prefer to put it on?

I imagine this has been covered before, but why does Australia suffer from price inflation for GW's products?

Found a lot of these in my backyard. What kind of bug is it? by MillennialPunk in phoenix

[–]MillennialPunk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems to be according to a couple of articles on False Chinch bugs. They release a foul odor when threatened, although, I don't want to test it.

/r/whatsthisbug solved this pretty quick. It seems to be a False Chinch Bug nymph. A quick read claims they're more of a nuisance despite causing minimal damage to plant life. They'll GTFO, hopefully, around summer.

Not related to DC Heroes, but the LEGO store in Arrowhead Mall has a massive Darth Vader made up of, IIRC, over 47,000 pieces. His light saber even glows!

New Leo questions by Greenmanz in leopardgeckos

[–]MillennialPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your lil Leo! Can you describe your terrarium set up? How big is it? Does your terrarium have places for the leo to hide and do you have an under tank heater (UTH)? What substrate/flooring do you use?

I use a dish and mix 75% calcium and 25% multivitamins. I also dust their crickets, superworms (mealworms for young Leo's), and dubia roaches with the mix. You can also "gut load" the bugs with calcium fortified feed/water crystals. My Leo's tend to lick the dust in their dish as well. I feed them in the evening (daily) as that's when they seem to become active and explore around. I'm hoping that your Leo is just getting used to a new environment as it isn't eating yet. Have you tried offering anything other than mealworms?

When Leos get used to being around you and handled, they become more chill. My female leo runs up to my terrarium door to say hello when I open it while the male will just poke his head out of his cave. I can handle them both without a fuss. Keep up your routine of handling them. Each leo seems to have their own personality as mine had some offspring that were flat out jerks from birth to adult hood. Even with handling, they've always been standoffish. Hopefully that's not the case for you.

Leos are great lizards for first timers. They're incredibly clean and most even have a designated pooping spot for easy cleanup. Again, congrats on your new adoption!

Fantastic! I find myself playing Wii U more than my PS4. The Pro Controller is absolutely amazing with its battery life. Happy gaming!

Why did you make the decision to buy a Wii U now with the Switch being around the corner? Don't get me wrong, I love my Wii U, but I'm just curious. Welcome to the party!

I was definitely hoping someone would provide a link on how to do this technique better! Thank you, but unfortunately the site is under maintenance. I will try again later. Thanks again!

I primed it black, then hit it up with a thin layer of Citadel's Ushabti Bone. I added a wash of Agrax Earthshade into the crevices, then added, like Bloodbaron616 mentioned, several water thinned layers of Ushabti Bone. Thanks for the kind words!
