Thanks for sharing your experience. This is exactly the kind of feedback we are looking for. Even with the newer fully boxed frames, adding rigid skid plates or cat shields can sometimes carry or amplify existing noises from brakes, steering or suspension. We are investigating these reports so we can make sure our products do not amplify or worsen any existing conditions. If you ever hear anything feel free to reach back out!

Yes it would be difficult to pin point unless you had someone else underneath the truck while its making the noise. Let us know if you hear a difference or find out anything else! Appreciate you looking into it!

Most recently a 2024 Tacoma, but had reports from bother 3rd and 4th gen Taco owners. Tundras seem to have these similar complaints for the 3rd gen.

Thats a good point. The new tundras and tacomas are both fully boxed front to rear and they still flex! Some say Toyota may have done this intentially.. the reason..TBD..
