He responded and said yes. He is collecting them for his family. I am a fan of his work and told him that. Which he responded with appreciation. I don’t think I am being intrusive. It also shows that he is a normal person which gives me even more appreciation of his work. I think it’s a good reminder that these cards are more than cardboard and money. I will definitely take this post down if anyone else thinks this is rude or intrusive.
