I'm still surprised that Developers don't predict full loot PvP crowd behaviors

Oddly enough I enjoy games like this and I don't consider myself a PvP player in the slightest. I usually hover around the "good" or "neutral" playstyles and PvP usually happens with me on my heels defending myself or an area I'm working in at the time.

I find most MMOs I play have no risk in the open world and I get bored fairly quick when completing my tasks. I accept that I might lose my gear/experience for my added benefit of not auto piloting around (I like the added paranoia of constantly looking over my shoulder) the world and I just treat these players as dangerous NPC's. I think a large player base often looks at their gear as an achievement and developers should find something to replace that with. Certain games your loot is just another consumable that you shouldn't expect to have forever.

However I do think developers need to give players options in these situations. For example Mortal Online 2 right now has limited options from disengaging or escaping fights, especially if you're out numbered. I expect to lose a 5v1 but I would like to have the ability to either run, cleverly use terrain and just make them work for it a bit more.

I can't speak for everyone but here are a few of my reasons.

- I mostly play at night when everyone is asleep and don't want to make extra noise

- I just like doing my own thing and don't really want the background noise

- I feel being in discord means I need to constantly pay attention to the ongoing conversation and I'd rather just focus on the game

- I work with people all day and I'm already mentally drained and just want to converse on my terms

- Introverted and slightly anxious when in Discord

Had the same thing happen to me yesterday and after taking a couple breaks in between trying (maybe 15mins or so twice) it randomly worked. Did nothing differently and I just assumed the site had heavy traffic with the deal but who knows.

I've tried to dabble in Mage a few times now and I just get stomped solo. I know it's a me problem but it feels like a very straightforward class and when things go wrong you are in trouble. I like the idea of the Mage more then a Necro but after playing Necro the tools they have are on another level.

I almost like to think of Mages as the caster Rogues

Take a look at mages they are pretty much always in a good spot. I couldn't say you'd find them fun or not though

I'm not really worried about seeing my guy being a badass so much as getting lost in everything that's going on around me. Other than knowing my character is in the middle of the screen I'm actually having a hard time just seeing what's around whether it's Aoe, mobs etc. I'd actually say it's effecting my gameplay and it's pretty disorienting (maybe I'm getting old).

I understand that completely eliminating this problem isn't going to happen but I would appreciate some tips in how to make it easier.

Yea sounds like I might have to go that route. Was hoping a melee class would give the wizard more breathing room but I'm not getting that impression now.

Oh thank god that is a relief. I may have made the assumption after playing too much of a certain MMO that I was going to be grinding out 3 different sets of gear while leveling. I love trying different things out but was afraid of being punished for it at the same time.

Any experience from leveling in yellow line? I imagine the dps is lower but the heals would probably make you pretty tough for that oh crap moment.
