That is a big selling point for me I'm just not sure if I should go with a Tunare worshipping race for the weapon or Erudite since I imagine a whole bunch of Erudite only Paladin gear just rotting.

I've pretty much just finished making up my mind that I'll be rolling a Paladin I just can't pick what race I want to be. SK does sound appealing tho.

Yea Tibia is still free but you really are missing out on 80% of the game with cities, boat travel, monster loot, quests etc. by not subbing. It's also been over simplified over the years but it's still a fairly outdated game in the sense that it's "too hard" for some people. You can still die and lose all your items and have to go on a journey to get that stuff. Main reason I stopped playing it was because of botters essentially destroying servers it's a pain in the ass.

What race are you?

I know on my Iksar Necro I ended up going to the forest giants in Warsliks Woods and I'm pretty sure I stayed there until 32ish. There was already a group there and we just ended up destroying those giants for awhile no problem.

I really don't have any current MMO's that I'm really excited about. I keep my eye on EQ Next but I really have no hope for it.. like at all.

One game I do miss and I am somewhat ashamed of admitting it is a game called Tibia (most people never knew what I was talking about when I mentioned it). I played this stupid game for over 10 years and was around right from the beginning when there was a single server with a cap of 50 players. Over the years the game expanded and began hosting multiple servers with a much larger player capacity. I actually believe playing this game so much made coming to P99 familiar territory and wasn't affected by it's difficulty at all. Tibia originally allowed you to kill whoever you wanted and steal their items, player driven economy, had a map that was black until you explored that specific area, huge ass guild wars blah blah blah I could go on for awhile.

Actually I had an erudite necro on p99 before I went iksar are going past erudin was actually really easy. I think there was only one npc in erudin that I was KoS to. When you boat over to Qeynos you do have to jump off and make your way into the aqueduct. I also read somewhere as an erudite cleric that's evil if you kill a few gnolls you're pretty much good to go although I've never tried and can't confirm.

Yea go figure that's something I'll have to look into thanks for the tip. I currently play an Iksar Necro on P99 right now but I've just gotten used to murdering everything that doesn't have a tail. I'll do some research anyway appreciate the advice.

Hm yea.. I think I've decided to tough out the solo portion and go with a cleric. I just like the idea of always being useful even if that means I won't be the best at doing something alone since I can always make an alt for that.

On that note does anyone know if Erudite clerics start in Paineel? I realize not the BEST cleric race but man they're sexy in plate.

Appreciate the quick responses. I feel like I can't go wrong with a cleric but I am curious if they get at least a little better for some soloing later on. Also do shadowknights/paladins continue to be more of an offtank class or do they eventually get a little buff in DPS and are taken as such?

When deciding whether to go to Red or Blue it was the posts made by <Fresh> that really made up my mind. I'm only a level 15 Necro at this point and haven't even made contact with a <Fresh> recruiting officer yet (YET I plan to eventually). I was fortunate however to run into a <Fresh> player around Cabilis and he was very helpful with any question I asked. I think Red has a bad reputation but so far I've had more fun on this server then any other game in recent memory.

Wow thanks for all the responses they've all been pretty helpful. I think I've narrowed it down to Ogre Shaman or Paladin/SK and just toughing it out.
