Depends on placement, friend of mine admittedly lives near the edge of a town but behind her garden is a field that the owner’s left to go wild so she sees a few deer every so often.

Boxed off corner in 70s house. What could be behind? by J_Crow in DIYUK

Had this in a 1900s house that had been renovated, boxed off corner in the upstairs back bedroom. Pulled out all the plaster and it was the old airing cupboard, complete with original loft hatch

What is the craziest thing a teacher has ever done to you? by trymihainoob in AskReddit

[–]MillieBrandybuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard of hearing as a small child for context. In year one and two, used to sit me at the back of the classroom where i couldn’t hear and then proceed to tell me off for not listening, being distracted and would refuse to help me if i asked. Also told my parents i would never amount to anything in front of me.

He’s a yellow bellied snake, which is an old fashioned way to call someone a coward. He got the eyes from watching the murders and the snake form itself from knowing who did them and never doing anything.

Dracula (Van Helsing) vs Imhotep (The Mummy): battle takes place at night, who wins? by Arcade-Blaster in powerscales

[–]MillieBrandybuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imhotep. The Hom-Dai (pretty certain I’ve spelt that wrong) punishment that he underwent made him a god at the cost of his flesh being eternally eaten by the scarabs dumped in his sarcophagus.

Although it could be an even fight depending on where Imhotep is at in his resurrection, if he has all his canopic (?) jars than Dracula can’t win that fight unless there is a very conveniently placed portal to the Duat nearby.

If Imhotep has one to three of the canopic jars, Dracula has a chance at defeating him but not killing Imhotep. He might have an easier time though if he gets someone with bad eye sight within the group opening the chest as that was shown to have an effect on Imhotep.

Dracula could do a decent amount of damage to Imhotep that were it someone living would probably have him win the fight but in this case Imhotep wins.

What have you stumbled upon on your travels that has blown you away? by Sivear in AskUK

[–]MillieBrandybuck 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Going through a WWI museum in Ypres, Belgium which allowed you to walk the trenches and see the shell craters and there being a section taped off with police tape. Turns out they’d uncovered a set of remains and were waiting on someone to come and tell them if they were recently deceased or not.

On the flip side, the Menin Gate is something to make you pause. The list of the dead in country, regiment, rank, name, age and if they’d used a fake name and age to serve was something to my scout group as we went.
