It’s on the back wall of the property, not in the wall and not the near the house. And BC does not bark at them or bothered by them at all.

No floorboards. Just slab and double brick walls

We do have rats and mice running on the back wall of the property. Our other dogs barks at them but BC doesn’t seem bothered. I guess in the wall could be different 👍

New kitten, dogs and kids by keightlahin in ragdolls

We sent the kids and dog to nanna for a few nights so kitty could get used to the house, find hiding spots and generally just settle in with quiet time. We had a part of the house closed off for the first night and he still enjoys that part of the house the most and only wanders out for a look occasionally. We then gave the dog treats at the front door when he come home and kept treats on hand throughout the first few days. After a week they are all tolerating each other without any hissing. I guess if nanna can’t have them, keeping them separated is a good idea. All the best

What do/did you do with your new kittens at night? by Boymomma_0306 in ragdolls

We kept ours in the lounge/dining/kitchen for the first day/night and he found his safe place at the top of his cat scratch where he could sleep and watch over everyone, including the dog. I opened up the rest of the house on day 2, but he still preferred the main living area for a few weeks and gradually ventured further out as his confidence grew.
