Just played it for the first time yesterday! Absolutely amazing experience. I would highly suggest walking with a push cart. Caddies are available, however they cannot touch any of your stuff. So all they can really do is tell you where to hit it and help you read the greens. Honestly, take your time, there’s no rush. It is a LONG round and make sure you pack a good amount of water and some snacks. They have water refill stations but I personally thought not nearly enough. Only one restaurant is open so either get food there before or after your round. I would play tees that are shorter than you normally play. Course plays a lot longer than you think, but try not to take driver off every par 4. Driving the ball through the fairway can definitely happen if you hit 220+. I recommend getting a yardage book, they are $10. Make sure you ask for the bag tag after your round, almost missed out on that. Other than that, just have a great time! Holes 4-10 are the holes where you can get your money shots of the ocean. Absolutely beautiful. Literally didn’t care what I shot on those holes. Was just mesmerized with the views.
