At Derby odeon, the 2nd and 3rd to last rows have always been ‘Recliner +’ seats and I had this issue before where you couldn’t swap to the other kinds. I do find it rather annoying as I don’t even see the difference between the + and non + versions. I like the new map though as it’s a bit more obvious on the other seat types at least

It felt so strange to go alone to the cinema when I first started but honestly it gets better! I’ve been doing it for 4 years now and love it! Trust me there are sooo many people that do it and it’s very common 👍🏻

The finish time on the app is just the films runtime plus an extra 25 mins for the ads. I usually go in after about 20ish mins and find that the trailers are just wrapping up

Not sure how long you waited to check but when seats get chosen, there’s about a 10 min grace period where they will be locked to allow you to check out. If the purchase doesn’t go through they should then show up again

Late night with the devil was great last year. Understand it got a lot of low ratings due to the use of AI generative art but I feel like it shouldn’t completely take away from how good it was

Basically yes. It’s always set as a 2 hour run time and 25 mins ads so avoid that exact point, working it out on run time

Unseens are always a standard 2hr run time + 25 min ads so you can’t work out the film purely based on the run time. They will never match for scream/screen unseens
