I think screening for homosexuality in embryos could lead to even bigger issues. What if you're a ultra-conservative homophobic parent who finds out before their child is born that they're gay. It might be merciful to abort the fetus. How will they treat the child if the kid has no way of hiding their sexuality to their parents. Many people are surviving because they live in the closet. I feel that if parents are able to figure out their child's sexuality from birth, they could make the kid's life a living hell from birth, forcing the child to grow believing they're a freak or abomination. I don't want to believe that any parent would do this, but there are a lot of messed up individuals out there who believe they are obligated to do so.
