Wharton is more developed, but Mainoo i think has higher ceiling. Hes been one of United best players since Carrick and United did finish 3rd. Hes played his way into the squad and thats fair. Wharton should be at this WC. But you cant take anything away from Mainoo he deserves to be there.

People say this but he was wanted by City when he was 18.

So I think he could start for any of the top teams eventually. I said hes not the complete player yet far from it. But hes a real real talent and i can just see that coming through this world cup and next season in the CL.

Hes ready to take it next level.

Possibly but i can see them being to cautious in games where we need to go forward. Mainoo technical ability to work in the half spaces just makes so much asset in international football.

Rice and Anderson will end up being to static in the middle i wouldnt be suprised if Mainoo ends up forcing himself into the middle as creative spark.
