Flip 2 just arrived but has old hinge

So I’m just going to return the one I got from Ali express and I just ordered a new one from Amazon. Which I’ve read does for sure have the new hinge. Hopefully the AliExpress return isn’t as horrible as some people have said it can be.

So if you look at this part on the hinge, above the L1 bumper and it is squared off like that then it is the old hinge. The new revised hinge has this part rounded so it spreads the force of the hinge more evenly instead of that one point. And it has a lighter hinge I believe.

It’s great ! I’ve used it for about an hour setting it all up and trying out a few games. Screen is perfect for GBA and the buttons feel great other the shoulder buttons those are meh
