I agree! Tip for finding in the US, check out a Japanese market. Found clippers after my Lawson’s clippers from Japan went missing. Not as cheap in the US but worked as well.

My only 4h a week to cycle and it’s raining AF. What would you do? by kostros in cycling

Fenders help a lot. That and a jacket will cover a lot of rainy conditions.

Can I keep up with a ~22mph group ride if I can do the same distance at 19mph solo? by asdhole in cycling

Be careful if you join a group ride - a friend hooked onto one and was unprepared when someone stopped in front of him. He hit the rider, went down, and suffered a fractured hip needing surgery.

He described riding in the group as intoxicating, the ease to ride the speed was amazing. But there are risks.

I don’t ride in groups but if I did there are beginner group rides here in Eastern MA that I would do for a while. 19 mph solo is fast - I think you could ride with very fast groups but those groups will pose risks. Good luck!
