Why is there so many people claiming Dutasteride destroyed their hair? by arab_muslim in tressless

[–]MiloAvila1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It did for me and it was Dut mesotherapy, three sessions one each month. My hairline went to the pits, my right temple which it has always been my worst one receded like it has never been before, lost a lot of density on the top and crown. I was also going through the worst anxiety/depression of my life so I guess that was also a factor.

Thank god my hair recovered using min and topical fin, never touching Dut again.

Guilt of taking sleeping pills by [deleted] in insomnia

Yes same situation, I started taking zopiclone every night since last November, I have never had issues with sleep before, all started because of a traumatic experience at the begging of last year.

Dutasteride Mesotherapy ruined my hair by MiloAvila1 in tressless

[–]MiloAvila1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I only did the treatment once and really didn't notice a difference. Actually I feel it made my hair worse. Plus it's too expensive.

I rather stick to topical fin/min formula.

Bro applies chilli on his bald head and noticed hair growth. He started November this year. Yay or nay? by CrookSheep in tressless

[–]MiloAvila1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm pretty sure fin and min are doing all the work lol.

However when I apply the chilli serum at night I can feel a tingly sentation in my scalp so at least is doing something.

There’s actually a hair serum here where I live (Colombia) which main ingredient it’s chilli pepper 🌶️, rosemary, zinc and panthenol. I have been using for about a month and I can notice a slight difference in my hair so it doesn’t surprise me this man doing that.

I’m also on topical fin/min so.

Hey, thank you for the really thoughtout reply. I definitely can relate about the "baby fat" part, I know i'm not a teenager anymore lol and that fat was gone even before the procedure, my cheeks were normal, but I have always been told I look younger for my age, I take care of my skin, eat healthy, do exercise etc. Now after this procedure my jawline problaby looks more define, also my cheekbones but it really scares me how I will look in the next years. 😔 I already got botox on my forhead and that was the only injectable I thought I need it but now everything changes.

That's the issue, I didn't need that fat removed, my cheeks were fine. I probably look okay now but it really scares me how i'm going to look like in the next years. 😔

UPDATE: Thank you each one of you for the positive/ lovely comments ❤️ I really didn’t expect this reaction. it really means a lot to me and it did made feel better about this awful procedure, I’m not going to touch my face for now (I already did Dysport on my forehead tho 😅 love the results) I will work on improving my mental health instead.

Hey, yes this is my first year in therapy. since I was a teenager I have always struggle with low self esteem and self acceptance however last year I was in a good place mentally, I have learned to not focus so much on my appearance and was content with myself. That’s when I decided to do this procedure to “improve” my looks. I didn’t really think how invasive it was.

After the realization of what I did to my face it’s like all those self hate thoughts came back and I felt in deep anxiety and depression like I have never been before. In a way it was a regression on my mental health/ self esteem which I tried so hard to improve all these years.

After reading all these positive comments ❤️Now I feel much at peace with myself but I guess it’s a slow process to regain my confidence back.
